Nothing a fleece and a spine can't solve I'll be back in the UK around the 3rd week in October until mid-November, so I was possibly thinking about hitting the A82/A83 to Inveraray or even head down to Troon or Saltcoats.... somewhere that does a decent fish supper! Nothing is set in stone, we can go wherever the group decides It's been a LONG while since I've been on a ride with anyone from the forum so anyone who's up for a leisurely jaunt out and about is welcome.

Not sure if I've ever posted in this thread but another Glasgow resident. I know medtec added me to the list at the beginning though. But since I'm not in Glasgow at the minute and I am sadly bikeless for the time being then it's a bit bloody pointless of me posting this Nonetheless, I've done it now so once I get back to civilisation and pick a ride then I'll be out and about once again.

Looks like I can't get my shift covered on Saturday anyway so I'm having to pull out as well. We'll postpone it till later in the summer then (new tyres will be on ) plus the weather will be better.

allan don't worry about keeping up or not being confident. It's not a race mate and we don't leave people behind. Ratser that's too bad buddy. I'm waiting to confirm if my shift is being covered on Saturday. My mate has already said he would cover but need to wait for the big boss to OK it on paper. Shouldn't be any issues though. Looks like it might only be a few of us then. Here's hoping the weather holds out for us

Hi all, Just a poll and a new thread for a rideout on the 11th April. Vote if you're planning on coming along. Obviously weather permitting and all Think it was mentioned earlier about a run to Largs so unless anyone has an overwhelming desire to avoid it, Largs looks like the place to go

Looks like a cracking road Ratser. I ended up just cleaning and tweaking the bike. The weather for the next few days looks pants though so it might just be work and back till Wednesday or Thursday.

Chicane is right Thomo, we all start with no experience regardless of who you are mate. At the end of the day if we all rode like Rossi from day 1 what where would the fun be? I've no intention in speeding away (except where appropriate ) from people. Always remember that it's your bike and if you wreck it, you have to pay for it. So only go where you're comfortable buddy. Speaking of rideouts........ anybody free tomorrow for a wee burn up the A82 to Loch Lomond or so? I'm off all weekend and I'm just back from a wee burn with my brother riding bitch & it's beautiful as always up there. Any takers??? Or any other route if it's easier for anyone else. Aye parenthood is great. He's about 18 weeks now. I think. He's starting to roll about the floor and grab stuff so we're watching him like a hawk at the minute. Can't wait for him to grow up though. Start him on his bike lessons

Sounds like a good day Ratser. I was working all weekend, so I didn't even get out in the sunshine. Do 14 hours shifts at the weekend so it's a completely wasted day for me. I'll check my rota for the 11/12th April. Largs sounds like a good wee run, hopefully the weather is good enough.

Bad news from me folks. I have to cancel now. Just had to fork out for a new fuel tap, carb service, MOT and a few other bits and pieces. My MOT runs out today so I can't even postpone it. There goes my petrol money Sorry all. Looks like I wont be coming. Akey/Willow and Susie, thanks very much for sorting out a place to stay but I wont need the beds after all. It never rains but it f**king pours.
