Fiddlesticks Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Not sure what to make of this.. The adapter plug that goes into the unit seems to be very sensitive to movement and the whole thing keeps cutting out. I thought the soldering might be loose, but it seems rock solid.  Quote
keith1200rs Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Have you tried reflowing the solder? It is difficult to tell how good the joints are from the picture. 1 Quote

keith1200rs Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 It is not uncommon for the connector joints on the PCB to fail due to the force of putting the plug in and out. Quote

Yes, that was how the thing "felt" - wiggle the plug and power goes off. But, shouldn't have assumed... I have 2 identical units, which helped with the diagnosis. Quote
