Motorbike slow start up

I’ve just passed my CBT and have brought a lexmoto Arizona cruiser. It can take up to 20-30 seconds for the bike to properly start up and sometimes it cuts out when you twist the accelerator. The carburettor has been cleaned out and checked and that’s all fine, any thing else I should try ?

Make sure your battery is fully charged. A weak battery will not help starting.

Check the spark plug and leads. Damp will cause poor starting. So will a dirty plug that isn't gapped correctly.

Do you use the choke to start it? Getting used to how carb bikes start from cold can be a knack. My CBF only needs choke in really cold weather. Otherwise it's better fired up without any.
