Gergo
Hi all, So I have an issue with my bike Yamaha N-max 125 2016 , I was riding and in the middle of my way it just stopped completely and since that it doesn't turn on, before it stopped the OIL sign came on the dashboard. I did top up the oil but the sign is still there and, when I want to turn it only does 1 click and that's all. Any suggestions what could be the issue with it or how can I fix it? Thank you for the answers in advance. Edited November 16, 2022 by Gergo
Mississippi Bullfrog
Oil light plus sudden stop plus a click on hitting the starter doesn't sound good. It is possible you have seized the engine. The oil light will come on now because when you turn on the ignition there is no oil pressure until the engine is running. The first thing I'd do is to remove the plug and turn the engine by hand to check it is free to turn.
Gergo
Thank you for your answer but I'm not a quite a mechanic which plug should I remove ?
Mississippi Bullfrog
The spark plug. That means the engine has no compressor it's easier to turn over. But if you aren't mechanically minded you may need to ask someone else to take a look at it.
