j4ff Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Full weekend of fun in the sun(i hope).Was there last year which had a great turn out.Plenty going on trade stands beer tents and live bands and displays like the globeriders.Camping available(check web site)or only £5 on the door.The ride on the saturday 2pm is not to be missed.The police close all the roads to cars and about 1500 bikes ride the sea front past St Marys lighthouse on to Hartley and back.Its only a few mile at snail pace but to be part of the crowd is great lots of tooting(horns )reving,people waving and taking pics.http://www.whitleybayfestivalofmotorcycles.co.uk/ Edited August 6, 2008 by j4ff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
