What is it doing when it won't start? Does it turn over, or just not turn at all?

Common hot restart problems can be.. .

Poor battery charge. A hot engine has higher compression than a cold engine.

Too rich a fuel mix will cause poor hot restarting.  The engine will spin but not fire. The exhaust may smell of unburnt petrol.

Blocked air filter.

Damaged or poorly gapped spark plug.

Failing coil.

Crankshaft sensor failure...if fitted. The coil expands when hot and breaks circuit if it is damaged. A mate has just spent a fortune on his bike and it turned out to be a dud crankshaft sensor.

Blocked fuel tank vent.

When did it last get a proper service?

It will start straight up , then if you turn it off within a minute or for ever long as you leave it running ,,until you turn it off then back on, It will not start ,,it will turn over then try to start for about a second then goes back to just turning over. Now it doesn't matter how long you leave the bike ticking over ,,once you turn bike off it will not start just keeps turning over until you flatten the battery

Have you checked the colour of the spark plug and the condition of the air filter? (As before - when was it last properly serviced?)

Have you checked the battery voltage when cranking for the hot restart?
