Kags Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Has anyone taken a UK trike over to the USA for touring, as we are struggling to find a road insurance company to insure the trike whilst over there? Any help advice appreciated Quote
manxie49 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 I'm with Husoi, rent .... Much easier and probably a lot cheaper. I just had a quick nose online, loads of places provide rental trikes including Rewaco. Everything, including insurance sorted for you, no hassles and no worries. 1 Quote
Guest Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 https://adventuremotorcycletravel.com/motorcycle-insurance-for-overlanders/ Some info here. Rental is a good option depending how long you are going for. Quote
husoi Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) I remember years ago planning Route 66 and there is a company working with HD that even do the trip planning for you. Like these guys Guided Motorbike Tours | EagleRider Edited January 23, 2023 by husoi 1 Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 When I rented two Harley's a few years back, EagleRider also had trikes - Ran group tours - provided route planning and advice - AND, were relatively cheap. I cannot see the logic of taking your own trike over there unless you are emigrating! Quote
