Engine cutting out

Hi my son as a 125 LIFAN skygo, the bike it self in a good state , 

the problem he is having is the brake keep cutting the engine out and the bikes lights will not work or the indicator he as got new battery on there and when he checks it it will run down to very low numbers but if charged up then the lights will work until he rides it again, he as new battery , new rectifier on , new plug , checked the volts on the stater plate and seem fine 

it is just not keeping charge and he keeps getting the issue with the lights  and it cutting out  any takers on this thanks

There is almost certainly a wiring issue with a current leak.

 

Get a multimeter, disconnect the earth connector on the battery, set the multimeter to read current (amps) on a low setting, then use the meter probes to link between the battery earth terminal and the disconnected lead. 

 

There should be only a tiny current flowing, just a few MAh. 

 

If there is a higher current flowing pull the fuses one at a time until you identify the part of the loom that is affected. 

 

Poor wiring is common on these.
