Hi folks, I’m hoping someone maybe able to help me (standing in for hubby)

Hubby has just got a 2023 KTM 1290 Superduke R, he has done just over 300 miles on it, the engine management light came on in yellow, he took it to the dealers who put a code reader on it but no codes showed up and the EML then went off, he then done about 20 miles and it came on again in yellow. He has called the dealer and we are waiting for them to call us back. Has anyone experienced the same with their 2023 KTM at all please? Neither of us are mechanically minded at all lol. We will be so grateful for any advice. Thank you

Thank you that’s a great tip x

Unfortunately some codes are not retained when it self clears, cars and vans do the same, it's bloody annoying

Agree with bender  its just stupid but to be a conspiracist - Yes to hide there dodgy crap work, Just goes to shows the manufacturer cant programme the damn things properly in the first place!!!

does it go into limp home mode when it does it? If not its a low level problem, probably just a sensor (worker) sees something out of its parameter and says it but the ECU (management) is quick to dis it cos it don't wanna upset the suits (board). 🤡

im luckly at the moment as i have an old school bike, smug mode engaged. Sorry i need to feel good about myself right now.
