recoveryone
Rear light works. Brightly ? Pull front lever light goes out. Solution Tiggie Posted July 28, 2023 Solution Share Posted July 28, 2023 I'd have a look at the wire harness by the light and see if something is corroded, disconnected or otherwise damaged. If all looks ok I would trace the wires back along the loom checking for insulation worn away due to rubbing or corrosion etc

Sounds like it could be a bad earth, but maybe two separate issues. Maybe just focus on the front brake first. 1

Mickly
Being a chopper the harness might be home brewed, look up a standard harness for ( I’m guessing ) a XS650 heritage. is the bike new to you or is this a problem that has just happened?
