Advice please re retractable mirrors.

Hi.

 

I have a 2021 Honda CB125R which I keep off street in a rear yard for security. The yard gate is under 3 feet wide post to post. Getting in and out is a bit of a struggle. I have to lean the bike and quarter turn the bars to get it in and out.

 

Advice required regarding retractable mirrors as its them thats more a problem than the bar ends.  My little Yamaha YZF125R had folding mirrors and was a treat in tight spaces.

 

Has anyone out there fitted and had success with retractables, that either retract up over or back. Info please where best to get some and female screw size would be appreciated.

I understand what you mean l have to take mine through a narrow gap.

I bought aftermarket mirrors that didn't stick out so far. Not retractable just slightly narrower. Or widen the gate.

Google “folding motorbike mirrors” there’s a tonnes out there; all different types to suit all budgets.

Widen the gate was the answer. I can ride the bike in and out now. Coming in forwards, onto the side stand, balance the bike and whizz it round so it stands right upto the wall, left of picture.

I have one fortunately. Shortly after taking that pic after a ride out this morning round Whitby it started to pour down. It's still at it now.
