Nick the wanderer Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 Hi, never owned one but my mate had one, the XJ. He lent me it for a short time when I was bikeless and down on my luck. I'll always be grateful for his kindness and helping me get my shit together. After having no bike for a while it was the best bike in the world! 1 Quote

Nick the wanderer Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 I thought they looked pretty good too. Better than the Diversion they turned into. Just had a look, not many about now, looks like they only made them for a couple of years before the 600 came along. You'll be lucky to find a good one now l bet. Quote

S-Westerly Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 First motorcycle I ever rode in 1978 was a Yamaha single belonging to a friend. Seem to remember it was a 500cc 2-stroke but my memory may not be that good. I was hooked on bikes though from that point on. Quote
