LoneWolf Posted March 23 Share Posted March 23 So I was riding home a few nights ago and stupidly money shifted my bike accidentally going along a dual carriageway. I lost some power and thought it was going to cut out and shot a flame out my exhaust pipe. The bike seemed to ride back home fine and regained most if not all of its power. It still runs albeit with a slight tapping noise which I assume is coming from the valves this tapping disappears at high rpm but I’m concerned that I’ve done some internal damage, anyone able to help? If it was just a missed gear change then you won't have done any damage as the engines are rev limited, false neutrals happen. If in doubt check the vavle clearances.
