bonio Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 Hi @Dave in Kerry There's lots to say: what bike have you got? how long have you had it? what's the bike you most regret selling? etc. etc. We've nothing better to do here than read this kind of stuff, so get writing boy. 2 Quote
Dave in Kerry Posted June 19, 2024 Author Posted June 19, 2024 (edited) Ah, surprised to find so many kind greetings et al - thanks. I was active on a few forums until about five years ago but fell by the wayside like a lot of us do. I’m sort semi-retired with a keen interest in bikes, I found the NW200 & TT fascinating this year to watch. Over the past lot of years Ive had a few big tourers GTR1400, Pan Euro 1300 & 1200 Tenere but, not doing the miles I used to, weight and running costs so I’ve downsized in recent years. Prefer tourers and big trailies for ergonomics and type of riding I tend to do. I currently have got five bikes of which I intend to keep my CRF450L Enduro (most recently acquired), Forza 300, WR250F Enduro and two classic trailies Suzuki DR800 (SR43A) & Honda XRV750 (RD07A). Unfortunately a change of circumstances means I have to depart with the last three. It maybe of interest that the DR & XRV were both acquired from the UK many years ago and are in great condition and can be re-imported to UK without any duty to be paid I understand. Both just had a major service and run on dyno by local spanner magician John at JOG Tuning. John preps competition bikes for Irish & UK Road Racing & BSB. There are always lots of bikers from UK & EU about Kenmare on their hols this time of year. I suppose that’s enough words for now. regards Dave. Edited June 19, 2024 by Dave in Kerry 3 Quote
