Got twatted by a boy racer many yrs ago resulting in a right leg lower amputation However, it never stopped me and I ride mostly summers and odd nice winters days Looking at possible track days soon so may post some questions on the forum! I’ve ridden Cadwell on my VFR800, Yamaha FJR1300 and BMW R1200Gs (I’ve done other tracks but just enjoy Cadwell more). The only one of those that might be considered suitable is the VFR. Look for “Road bike only” days - they’re a bit slower and generally, in my experience, organised with more of a nod to safety. I can recommend Hopp Rider Training - photo of me on my FJR crushing the Mountain on a Hopp day. When I say “crushing” I meant with the sheer bulk of the bike. 2 Quote

Thanks for having me Welcome aboard. i did a day at Snetterton a few years back and there was a guy with what sounds like a similar injury. He was one of the quicker riders, too. He’d modified his bike to make it feasible for his specific injury. Something, perhaps, you might need to consider. Quote
