Hi I seem to have a problem with my neutral light not working I’ve changed the switch and still no light ?

It is a Yamaha ybr 125 plus the ignition has been swapped for a aftermarket one

Agree with @RideWithStyles

Time to get the multimeter out and check for continuity on wiring.

Or check for the 12v if you don't want to unplug the battery

Other than the wiring or a fuse.

the sensor needs a pick up to read, is it being able to see/read each other? Its needs to be close.

most likely it’s gunked full of chain lube or the pick up has come off?

Are you sure the light itself is working?

One would assume it's the first check 🙂

When it comes to anything with wheels I never assume the obvious has been checked.

A mate had a problem with his bike and spent a small fortune figuring out why he was getting random loss of power. The dealership had it back and forth and could find nothing wrong with the engine, electronics or transmission.

Turned out the glue on his heated grip had failed.

Is this a selecting neutral or just the light not showing when you are in neutral problem?
