Simon Davey Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Whoooooooop...... Got my first two tags today. The first was via the roughest roads imaginable, and was very testing, but actually made it a great ride. I was questioned by one of the villagers at Ashdon, "And who might you be?" I think she regretted asking as I put on my posh village accent and excitedly whipped out my number, then trying not to behave like a school boy who'd just scored his first goal, I explained what I was doing. Transpires she'd hoped I was from the council checking the state of the roads. Oh the irony. So, how do I work out the points thing? 1 4 Quote

Simon Davey Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) I've got the bug now, just need the time and weather on my side. It's great to have a goal whilst riding, much better than aiming for nowhere. Edited February 20 by Simon Davey 4 Quote

Fiddlesticks Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Quote fliddles where was that singing tree? I appreciate by it and horror’d at it at the same time some how @RideWithStyles it's up above Burnley, Lancashire. You could actually ride down the footpath right up to it but I'm not such a hooligan. Ye, it's a bit eerie, but less so than all those windmills around that area. Replying on here as t'other thread is just for the pics. 1 Quote
RideWithStyles Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Sorry, forgot about that section. Thanks! Cant tell me you wasn’t tempted to use it as a slapaphone (what tune would you play?) or shout/fart down a tube! 1 Quote

Simon Davey Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Had a great ride grabbing a couple of tags yesterday. Anyone doing East of England, note that that at Alton Water Visitor Centre, you'll need to take a ticket at the barrier, then you get 15 minutes to grab a picture and have a pee, or pay £2 per hour. 6 Quote
