Popular Post Simon Davey Posted January 2 Popular Post Posted January 2 I put up a five shelf 1200mm X 600mm rack from Screwfix. Also found a £15 rug rail in the barn, the screw holes actually lined up with the holes on the rack. I now have somewhere to hang my gear. Although my gear is now hanging in front of everything, sliding it along the rail is no hardship. 11 Quote
RideWithStyles Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Looks like a mini version of sportsbike shop rack…starting off small? 3 Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I had to Google what a rug rail is. It seems to be a horsey thing. Interesting coloured walls in your shed. Very upmarket. 1 Quote
bonio Posted January 3 Posted January 3 It's the beams that look interesting to me. Very sixteenth century. Quote

Interesting coloured walls in your shed. Very upmarket. It was a small barn, and the previous (upmarket twats) owners of the farm converted it to a snooker room, with an external, very well bolted door large enough to get a bike through. We have just filled it with junk, turns out it makes a very good garage though. 3 hours ago, bonio said: It's the beams that look interesting to me. Very sixteenth century. The house is 17th century, the barn is similar age, but lots of old, non-original beams added. It's not that nice in there, apart from our junk, I need to address the collapsed ceiling and rain coming in. 2 Quote

However I claim no expertise on these matters. My attempts this morning to feed donkeys carrots ended with a 3 year old granddaughter clutching a bag of carrots in the rain whilst the aforesaid beasts refused to move out of their shelter. 3 Quote

Yup, they're all wearing rugs at the moment, even though they only go out for a short while each day. It's nice for us to know they're warm enough. @RideWithStyles I just placed it in front of an unused door. There's a four foot drop outside, where there used to be a loading ramp. Quote
