chicane Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 well seeing as you lot are heading in the opposite direction (do I have B.O. or summmat? ) I'm gonna take 701 Dumfries to Moffat then the 708 past the Grey Mares Tail and St Mary's Loch to Selkirk, pick up the A7 Selkirk to Gala, 702 to Peebles and back down the 701 to near the bottom of the Beef Tub before cutting over the Greenhillstairs road to link up with the B7076 then head onto the 702 at Elvanfoot and down the Dalveen Pass and home. is OK I'll take my camera with me and post some pics Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

chicane Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Its OK folks the first post was a bit tongue in cheek, although I am very much looking forward to meeting up I'm checking out hotels for the Bikers Oracle Pan group "BOP '07 Mayhem in Moffat" and timing/recceing a route for the Saturday Rideout. I have a mate on a badger modded (good story) ZX6 who usually rides the twisties with me and I'll probably have quite a few of the local IAMs group along at least as far as Moffat, possibly the whole route .
