Anyone out and about this afternoon, or tomorrow ?

Weather ok but cloudy today and supposed to be good tomorrow.

Going to head out today, but just deciding where to go.

What's up with the bike Daz ?

Went to visit a work associate down in Darvel yesterday, then went through Sorn, to Muirkirk and back up the road.

Not a major run, but a nice wee one all the same.

I will be heading out somewhere this morning too.

Ach bugger this, I'm off out on the bike.

Cloudy and threatning or not, I need fresh air.

Ok, so apart from the crappy weather, anybody been out and about yet ?

Was out on Sunday there for the first time this year, bar a local jaunt.

Out to Strathaven, Muirkirk, Douglas, Rigside, Biggar (cuppa tea), Carstairs, Lanark, Clyde Valley and back to civilisation.

Last run out with a standard can.

Roll on Friday for the noisy bugger.

Hadn't planned on it mate to be honest.

Weather not good for Saturday through to Tuesday.

Friday is meant to be good, but sods law, my bike will be in getting a service and new can installed.

I take it that it is back on from this year then, which is great news.

is this little trip thing to largs happening ? im only about 20 minutes away from largs so i might be able to tag along if its not a problem , mind that im an L plater too so im slow and crap haha and my bike keeps braking into pieces .

id be able to go if my new chain and sprockets are back on within then.

Went out for a short spin on Friday night, time was limited.

So Hamilton, to Strathaven, Darvel, down to Cumnock (hen night there so free to ogle with the dark visor on ), back to Muirkirk, and back through Strathaven.

Arse in a van comes alongside me before I could overtake a truck (road was not clear, but when it was this guy was already at the side of me).

Over take the truck and this guy is hammering it, but quite twisty so not clear to overtake him, then he starts lobbing stuff out his window.

So I just back off and left him to it, dick.

Anyway, got back to Strathaven and swapped bikes with my mate for his R1 for the short ride to EK.

Man alive, that thing is fast.

Was glad to get back on my own bike though, as it tips into corners easier than that beastie (well for me anyway).

Passed a few bikes along the way too, so if any were from on here

Anyone heading to Knockhill on Sunday for the Scottish Superbikes ?

If we don't I am sure we will be heading out somewhere, weather permitting, on Sunday.

I think Sunday/Monday is supposed to be good weather.

Heading up to Oban about 1pm ish (ie leaving Hamilton then), so if you see a blue T reg R1, I will be at least a couple of miles behind him.

Think going via the Green Welly too.

Usually only decide where we are going at the last minute.

But we haven't been down your way in a while so it may be next on the cards.

Usually a Sunday we are out and about anyway.

I basically leave it to my mate to decide.

Been out most of the day on the bikes, First to carlisle so Iank could have a mod1 practice ... good wee blast ..

Then back out at 7pm to dalveen with Daz, iank and another fella ... Was a good run too, but im fookin knackered now!
