Synroto
Are there any back protectors that don’t need to be fitted into a jacket? Some help on this would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks
Korben
Here ya go mateviewtopic.php?f=32&t=15836Personally I am a big fan of the Knox Contour Back Protector, but pick what suits you mate!!
Ellis Dee
The short answer is yesI got a Knox back protector that straps snug over shoulders and round my waist, it doesn't need to attach to any jacket/leathers and If I'm feeling really naughty I can lop it over a T-shirt for the summer (NOT an Ellis endorsed activity mind)Have a look on Ebay for Ideas, The top one at the mo is the Force field - went Ride (magazine)Recommended - Supposed to mould real nice to your back's shape.Try a few out if you're tall, - Some of them feel a bit too slight towards bottom end. (Least I thought so)
Korben
Although like I said I am a fan of Knox I hear very good things about Forcefield.Like Ellis says, fit is very important. It's like a helmet. It needs to fit well to be able to do it's job in the event of a crash.

If you usually take a backpack with you, may be worth looking at the Kriega r25 or r35 as they both have back protectors built in and are awesome bags. The smaller ones may have them in too, not quite sure though.
