Guest
when tootling along through the gears my bike runs sweet as a nut.. but.. as soon as u het to higher speeds.. 90 plus.. my bike seems to start pulsing... like its starving itself of fuel... like there a load of clag causing a slight blockageam thinking along the lines of either flushing carbs out... getting it re-dyno'd an checking jets, and or new fuel filteranyone have any other suggestions..? rennie
I thought I had a similar problem when I first got the Blade, it was fine accelerating but trying to hold a steady speed it was jerking like mad. It was because I was holding the throttle too tight and as the bike is so responsive, it was going on/ off the gas all the time.
Stu
take a look at the chain tension/condition one of my bikes once did that and it turned out to be a tight spot in the chain i adjusted the chain using the tight spot was a bit better but benifitted more from a new chain might be worth a check
Guest
i'll be buying a new chain come the end of the month so should be an all round improvement there anyway.. i stripped the bike down last night.. checked all breather pipes.. HT leads cleaned air filter.. etc.. so need to take it out for a run this evening... see how she performs...n if need be.. dig out the haynes n eliminate every possibility..
