Just a quick question about LED lights. Thought it maybe cool (others probably wont) to get some green LED lights that fit under the front part of the fiaring that glow green. Will make me easily seen at night and thought may look a bit funky BUT...are they legal? I know those under car ones arent but wasnt too sure about these.

These were the ones i was looking at...

Nah mate, they won't be legal... White ones facing forwards will be.

The only vehicle that can display a green light is a Doctor on an emergency call.

Same with the blue LED's.

I had a feeling though that blue flashing lights are, no matter how small, spotted by people a lot more than any other colour because of the subliminal message the person receives 'Shit, the police'. They then snap to attention, so it's a real shame that we can't have slightly, ever so pale, blue LED's gently flashing on the front of the bike just to be noticed.

Ahh well, thought as much. Bit stupid having them on sale in this country and not saying that on the website though eh? Would rather not the fine, just keep the illegal safety enhancements to a black visor I think.

Any other customisable bits that i could tack on to my 636? Wanted to get some throttle grips and the zxr engraved bar ends.

OH other thing was i cant for the life of me find a website that sells exhausts for my 05 636...assuming because it is undertail. Is what i need just the slip on thing or what?

how much riding at night do you do? you wouldn't notice them unless your at a show/indoors or riding at night.

I had blue fitted to the underside of my Bandit, with a switch under the seat. never had a problem, but did use with caution..

I just bought some red LED strip for my GIVI top box brake light, that should be ok shouldn't it?

yes, red on the rear is ok, as long as it doesn't flash like night rider......

so... as far as I know blue is out, red on the reverse only, green for doctors only (thought I was a smart ass for remembering that one, but obviously not!)

What colours can you have then?

Yellow? Purple? UV?

Additional lighting fitted to front of a vehicle - any colour except red and must emit a steady light i.e. does not flash.

Additional lighting to rear - only red and not to flash.
