wannaride
That is UGLY! ATGATT -I know you love this subject Techno! But hey, that's what I choose -of course, I reach 40mph -and about 30mph through trees- on my push bike wearing 3 qtr length trousers, a t-shirt and some (rather cool looking) sunglasses -and a smile. But still, for the motorbike, I'm AT cheap and affordable and hopefully worth it despite being on sale, end of line GATT.
houltmac
The one piece of clothing I hadn't purchased was trousers. While I always thought I'd do so before I got my bike I was saving the cash in-case I buggered my Mod 2. Last night I changed my mind - I purchased a pair of Alpinestars Street Cargo Pants. While they aren't as protective as some they seems pretty good and have good reviews. They also zip to my jacket. So whether I would have got them first or not, thanks for the final straw here guys. I've seen plenty of injuries before, but nothing like seeing that with cash in the bank and a Mod 2 in a few days to make me actually get out and buy some. Hywel
Do kevlar jeans with impact protection exist? I have some really good goretex trousers which would be amazing for longer rainy rides and rideouts with people, but I'm probably gonna be doing a lot of riding to the shops, to see bands and to see friends etc and I can't see myself wanting to go about my life in these big bulky padded waterproofs. Bogof
Do kevlar jeans with impact protection exist? Most (some) that I have seen have pockets for armour to be inserted. I have seen a few with armour already in place.
