Well its now official I am the owner of an R1200RT Pick it up on Tuesday I went to look at it yesterday and put a deposit down pending a test ride today and comparing it to the FJR its so much better in everyway! It feels lighter despite being heavier it handles effortlessly and soaks up the crap roads as if you are floating on a carpet! As a result I had to have it

Its a me and the wife kinda bike! we love just pottering about and little quiet roads in the UK then we get a few little tours in for at least 4 day weekends and up to 10 days in Europe I am hoping it has a stable mate

Well my plan for a big ride was put to a halt! only managed the first leg which is where I went to look at some bikes in a dealers! although that was the destination then on from there we was supposed to go home via snake pass But I ended up spending way too long in the dealers talking about this Deposit paid and its sold pending a test ride tomorrow
