    CBR 600 cutting out

it alters the load which in turn will kill a weak spark if the battery isnt charging the battery voltage could be too low to allow any load on the engine

  7. a chain stretches and gets longer as it wears!! your supposed to check your chain tension often! it will need adjusting if your lucky you will get away with it but it could be time for a new chain and also learn how to do simple maintenance checks! if your chain is in need of replacement the amount its going to cost you could have bought you a lot of basic tools to adjust and maintain your bike and make things like your chain last a lot longer! if you dont know how or have the tools you are best off visiting a mechanic asap to get it check and take it easy!

Do it with the positive too With the bike been a Honda its more then likely the reg rec that's gone test it first though and check wiring
  10. If the Speedo reads it km rather then miles a simple converter will do the trick as it would never see the limiter
  11. it depends where it is restricted most are in the clocks
  12. although the restriction is 180kmh or 112mph
  13. I would have loved to come down for this but I shall be in Germany! hope it all goes well
  14. as megawatt says get us some pics also put your location in your profile you could be right on someones doorstep who is will to pop and have a look
  15. If your sat nav has itinerary planning then download this http://www.tyretotravel.com/ you plot routes on it then upload them to your sat nav works a right treat I use it a lot when going anywhere just plotted a few routes for my germany trip in a week and halfs time
  16. yeah thats the ones you would wind them in they should have lines on them so you can see how far in they are not sure what standard settings are but write down what they are now first but if your suspension feels fine then don't mess with them if its too soft on the front then winding them in a little may help
  17. he wants to raise it in the centre of the fork you have something sticking up out the middle of the for this should be a preload adjuster you can adjust this to make the forks harder and they wont sag as much when you sit on the bike you have to go careful with suspension though as its so easy to mess it up and make it worse you cant raise the front end any way as the forks are as far through the yokes as the will allow

    Clutch plates

I could go on forever about clutches but I wont!! I would strip it first matty and see what's what but personally I would start with the cheapest first springs, plates then steel plates I have used EBC friction plates in mine and are spot on I wouldn't shim the springs as you can run risk of damaging your pressure plate

    Clutch plates

    As Steve says really
  20. Don't put your feet to the side! You may find that you come round a corner one day and catch your foot and could take it off! Put the balls of your feet on the pegs see moo's post on the same thing
  21. its actually not quicker as when you find your self in the situation where you may need your brake you will automatically move your foot ready plus 90% of your braking is on the front
  22. If you are resting your foot on it your feet are in the wrong position You should have the balls of your feet on the pegs so try moving your feet back a bit
  23. I'm going to hazard a guess that the above info is out of date as you have to do theory for every single category you take now! but if your only wanting to ride up to a 125 just do a cbt and display L plates no need for the theory if then you want to go bigger you can then do direct access and gain a full licence which means theory and tests and would cost around the same as doing a test for a 125 but you wont be restricted theres no point doing a restricted test if you dont have to as sooner or later you will want bigger and you will have to shell out again for another test and theory!
