  14. To be exact its £95.99 where I went to yesterday! but unlike other places they divide that hour by 12 and charge you accordingly for the work Most places charge a flat hour even if the job is only 30 mins
  15. Yes it was good to catch up and thanks for the brew They are even better to ride you will have to try one sometime
  16. If you're worried about the cost then find a good local independent thats VAT registered you would probably cut the costs in half without voiding the warranty
  17. I have just had an oil and filter change on my R1200rt pretty much same engine and it was £139 this is classed as the annual service Only had it since June so can't say what cost the 6k and 12k services are also it will depend if the drive oil needs to be changes at the time and also the brake and clutch fluid
  18. Its all age dependent on what you can do But thats not the rules its all to dso with power to weight ratio's I believe

  20. ME!!! Took bike for a service and as I got home it was pissing it down! so hit the button on the remote which I keep on the bike for the garage door to open it rode the bike in straight on to the stand engine off walk out the garage hit the garage door close button as I walk out jobs a good un! Walk halfway down the path towards the house and listen for the garage door to shut! Its at this point panic sets in as I realise that my house keys are on the bike that I have just locked in the garage Can't get in the house can't get in the garage so I have to wait for the wife to get home over an hour later

  23. I suggest you try ringing the companies as online quotes won't work in your situation You need insurance for theft only really as you can't ride the bike yet so you would be no risk to anyone as you won't be on the road
  24. Link please! I need to buy one
  25. Never had a claim with MCE but I still hate them I had all sorts of issues when just trying to change a bike and was being as obstructive as possible when they didn't like the fact I was going to cancel due to their incompetence and tried to keep my refund for 90 days saying they could legally do it! I had to involve the insurance ombudsman to get my refund
