I'm going back to contacts after a year of riding with glasses. Want the better field of vision, and i can wear wrap-around sunglasses with contacts in
I use monthly ones cos they don't dry out as quickly as daily ones i find.
-
I'm up for this one, provided i'm not at work.
-
Haha that's what we did in the end!

Me and WalneyFrankie just fitted a set of Oxford ones to my bandit, took about an hour at most to fit and wire in. Most difficult was getting the old grips off.
Also, apparantly the Oxford ones will switch off automatically if the battery voltage drops below 11.4 volts, leaving you with enough power to start the bike next time, just in case you leave them on. Though as TimR says, the LED is pretty chuffing bright.
Not had chance to ride with them yet, but hoping for good results...

Have a good ride up to edinburgh tomorrow everyone, and me, Louise and Walney will see you in Carlisle on saturday about 12.30! We'll be there a little early just in case.
Jadey.

Looking good!
I'm gonna need panniers (probably expanded), top box and tank bag for the pudsey run this weekend. We're gonna be away from saturday to thursday on the bike
-
and there was me thinking you'd shoved her in the topbox..... at least she can't crash in there..
Cheeky bugger!

Went to York from Kendal this weekend for 3 days with sleeping bag, roll mat, loads of clothes, shoes and loads of other crap - got it all on like this:

The topbox is bolted on to the rack at the back, magnetic expandable tank bag, and the tailbag is strapped onto the seat.
Also got sports panniers for when my lovely pillion prohibits the tailbag!

I'm getting excited now!
Weather forecast for the weekend is looking good so far. See you all in Carlisle!
-
I'm at work tomorrow unfortunately!

Went to Devils this morning for a brew before work (around half 10) and there were 20 or 30 bikes there by then. Gorgeous sunshine, and really quite warm in the sun.
Had my glove liners on today though, it's a bit cool when you get going!

Cos Children In Need day is in November!

At work unfortunately mate. Might be up for a quick blast to devils after work sunday (4.30pm) but that's about the limit of my riding this weekend
And it's sooo nice out too!

Stopped for an ice cream in Leyburn and Simon phoned me from devils, so met him at Hawes for a brew then headed back for about 5ish i think.
On the way back i thought i was fairly motoring til another bandit 6 overtook me like i was going backwards!
Great weekend though, it was so good i forgot to take any photos!
P.S. Isn't a brown sash the 2nd highest? (Except the 6 black sash grades)

Looks like you're gonna have a nice week weather-wise for riding.
Might be free on thursday but will let you know.
-
lol make it 11!

Scratch the last, the hartside meet is on sunday, which i might go to anyway. But tomorrow, we could still ride through the lakes. Lets meet at....
*thinks what time dave will be awake by*
10?
*runs and hides*
Then we can meet Blakey on the way through windermere.
-
I could do either/both days
Blakey, you up for it tomorrow?
We could meet in the car park of The Duke on Appleby Road if you want, then decide where we're gonna go?
There's still a meet at Hartside if we wanted to go up through the lakes?
