  1. I'm glad that we all recognise the real danger posed by pandas and their inability to fit in with polite society.
  2. Yeah, what Stu said - solving the problem will do you more favours than circumventing it, and it's a simple one at that. Fitting a killswitch wouldn't save you any grief if the key fell out and someone behind you drove over it
  3. Have you maintained them in the same way? Same cleaning chemical and lubrication, at the same intervals? Or have you been better about cleaning the Enfield's chain immediately after riding in bad conditions whereas less thorough with the WK? Loadsa variables, I would think.
  4. Do you ever get tempted to buy a bike that weights less than a quarter of a ton?
  5. Avoiding the car being scratched by behaving in a way that will likely prompt vindictive people to scratch the car intentionally... smart move right there.

  7. But all the gun nut survivalists voted for him. Well the left has proven to be full of hypocrites in most other respects so I'm sure at least one of them won't mind pulling the trigger in place of the usual gun nuts
  8. No comment. Glass houses and all that. Side note, I'm crap at proposing - done it twice now and neither was even remotely grand
  9. Nah just a field full of dead animals
  10. And let's stop being fooled by European media canonising Obama while damning Trump. God only knows the man does enough to damage his own reputation without their help, but holy hells we get a skewed version of events over here. And Obama is anything but saintly in his own multitude of ways, he just does a better job of playing the crowd than most.
  11. Oh bugger, the Obama administration must really be kicking themselves for failing to deliver on all that stuff he said about working towards nuclear disarmament... The bit where they invested $1,000,000,000,000 in modernising their nuclear arsenal must seem particularly silly in hindsight. As a side note, I keep meaning to start an impeachment sweepstake in the office...
  12. Some interestingly distorted versions of events going on in that video! Still quite funny from a production standpoint though
  13. Good point, the frame on the donor bike conflicted with my design. As you probably know all bikes have different frames, although i agree many are similar in structure i cant let a previous bikes frame govern my design. In 'reality' there would opportunities to work closely with engineers to make a structurally sound frame for the design but at this point ,the model is purely for aesthetics and will not be weight bearing. And to be fair, that subframe has about as much support as the subframe on a KLX250 or CRF250L
  14. Mine gets a wipe down with warm water and a sponger, then a bit of time to drip dry followed by a coat of ACF50. I'd like to have a jet wash, but it seems a bit daft to spend that money when I'd only be leaving it behind when I move later this year...
  15. I think £3k is well spend on a holiday and a motorcycle. Life is also for living. Amen to that. It's all well and good to talk about long term investment, but there's little point if you finally reach that future you've been investing in and realise you forgot to have fun along the way. And besides, the future rarely plays ball... never worth planning too far ahead in my books
  16. I don't think that being a landlord would suit me. But I reckon I'd be pretty good at running a trailer park. http://i.imgur.com/CX1c6Ko.gif' alt='IMGUR>'>
  17. Some/most of them have a pressure setting that's a bit lower so as to be safe for bikes. Also you can always repack your bearings and whatnot with marine grease to help keep the water out
  18. The carb is probably Japanese, at least The carb in my Lexmoto was a Keihin. Everything else was a Chinese knock-off of a GZ125 though
  19. And yet we don't have the sodding increase in supply to meet the demand when it comes to housing As a planning consultant who's main job is trying to get planning consent for housing, I couldn't agree more. The extent to which NIMBYism has progressed into BANANA is massively stifling politicians' willingness to do anything substantial to address the issue, especially in respect of the Green Belt which is decades past needing a national review. A potential can of worms, I know, but it's something I will [strikeout]angrily[/strikeout] happily debate all day long! Every time my mother starts another sodding campaign against more houses being built in the area where my parents live, I remind her that she is the reason I can't afford a house
  20. Yeah, we get quite a lot at the local meets around here and they're always utterly immaculate. I've never seen one with so much as a smudge on it.
  21. ...You use tweezers and a magnifying glass to polish your exhaust?!?
  22. It works, but you have to click through. Here you go, hope this helps : http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj44/vtrdonk/Lau_001_zpssxhatowd.mp4
  23. Yeah, I wouldn't be worrying about what's causing it or anything like that... this is 100% the dealer's problem and you should be coming down on them like a ton of bricks if they don't sort it swiftly!
