Grey grey grey here with an outbreak of work 😔

    How disappointing.

With any luck it'll be dry enough here to be able to shove the lawnmower about later.

That's after I've made a cake for the girl's birthday, prepared a party lunch for the outlaws and tiled the downstairs shitter.

  2. Now then now then children, settle down.

All this naughty behaviour is going to end up in tears and possibly a flounce (taking bets now).

Let's all calm down and recall that ultimately, on the internet, no-one really gives a shit about your opinion.

Cleaned up the Z500 for Bike Fest, Stamford Bridge on Saturday 10-4pm  and York Vintage show at the racecourse on Sunday. Took a pic of the bike in the same spot as in Sept 1980. here they are.

Bike fest is free but you have to pay to get into the York show.

Speaking from experience it rather stings! Like being tear gassed or pepper sprayed! Not that I have any experience of the latter of course.

Chilli in the eyes is worse than CS incapacitant and Pava!

The thing is you could actually tow stuff anyway just not a great deal it was all about weights and MAM :blah:

I have towed trailers and had no issues it's when you get in to towing bigger stuff people need to be careful

I dunno, I found it loads easier reversing an artic than my bike trailer!

  6. I dunno, I think it sounds like a laugh.

It'd probably be one of those things that sounds easy but turns out to be a total ball ache.

If it were me, I'd be looking at sourcing an 18" rim and respoking the current hub to the rim rather than messing about with brakes and axles etc.

Providing you can drop the forks a bit over an inch (whatever it works out to be given your rake angle) then the impact on handling should only be slight if noticeable.

Why did he take it out in the first place? Never really said I don't think. Taking random bits off machinery isn't generally considered to be a good thing.

Haven't you ever been a bit curious about what something does and taken it off for a peek?

I have. On occasion I even manage to put them back!

  8. I have a Canon 350D which is about a billion years old. It's survived a healthy career exploring numerous abandoned tunnels, mines, buildings etc in some harsh conditions so I'd go with Canon.

Some girl took the piss out of the shutter sound which was very mechanical compared to her swish Nikon which I found a little rude.

    She was otherwise very nice.

Hey, just read this and I had to stop my cbt as my never a started getting to me and I started to tense up and struggled with moving to the on road bit, and I just froze :-( but I have my 1 on 1 cbt on the 1st of next month, anyone have any hints and tips you can give me?
