My NoTD (those who have me on FB will have seen already) Riding home from my girlfriends on saturday about 9pm. Decide, it's a nice evening, warm, slight sun in the sky still. I'll cut through town and go out the longer route home. Forgetting its a nice evening, warm, slight sun in the sky still... and people have just been paid. Town full of usual drunk planks. Colchester is a classy place imo. Anyway as i'm riding up a slight hill the lights are green and likely going to end. However i'm going 20-25, i can make this. get to the lights still green all is well. Except for the stupid girl who decided to just walk out at the top without looking. Managed to stop with not much grace or space left.. The girl? carries on walking. No apologies. No shocked look. Nothing. Rev my engine a little and call her some choice names, before riding off. less than 2 minutes later some as*hole drives past me on a small road at easily 60. nearly clipping me in the process.. My nights ride? ruined. Get home, ranted to everyone about it, grumble grumble grumble.

It';s from a 99 bandit, but the only difference i can see from specs (robinsons foundry) the 99 one has the extra bit that mounts on bars (god knows what for) and the picture shows where the pipe goes in as unthreaded which i find hard to believe.. So gonna go with it. Delivery said friday so might just make it before bodge o'clock May have to bodge if it doesnt arrive in time tho

You could: Use a dremel to cut a slot in the top of the screw and try and wind it out with a screwdriver. Might try this.. Though it is flush with the resevoir so could damage Drill down the thread and use an easy-out. going to attempt this again tonight, hoping with two might be more succesful Weld a small nut on the top of what's left of the screw (the heat will help loosen it). Can't weld. and it's tiny size weld would likely make it worse Buy a new reservoir Nooooooo

Mornin, Tried to bleed my brakes yesterday as i was getting spongeyness. However the cover both screws had rusted over and as soon as i tried to unscrew them, rounded off. Asked my dear old pops if he could have a gander at drilling them out (i lack the tools ) He managed to drill them both. the heads sheared off fairly quick and he pried off the top lid. From there he managed to get one of the screws by a pair of grips and twist it out. The other was flush with the resevoir so no luck. He has tried to drill it with a small drill bit but apparently no luck. Was going to try it later with the t wo of us and see if we can't get it drilled out then gradually increased the drill size till the whole thing is gone. Any other suggestions or tips for getting this out would be appreciated
