  1. Has anybody had both of these lids? it might be a long shot as the XR1100 has not long been out but i am doing my nut in searching for a lid... with fitting, colour and price. I was able to try a XR1100 on today and it fitted perfect and was comfy... however witht he XR1000 dying there is nowere to try one. Anyone know if they are similar if not identical in fitting. sure i read that the new one has complete removable pads were the XR100 is only removable check pads aswell. thanks
  2. Just done a practise run of the test this morning for DAS... (st helens - north west). was a little worried with clutch control on figure of 8, but simply didnt use the throtle and it was a breeze Came to the 'dreaded' swerve manouver and it only took 3 goes to get up to speed (50k or 32Mph in real money), there was no problems with the actul manouver itself... same with Emergancy stop. so overall fairly confident for wednesday (real test), as its a breeze! lil advice would be apparently not all learning schools take you to a test centre... i would go with one that does as i feel so much more confident now. Peace !
  3. The hardest part is walking into Hien G. trying on 3 diffrent lids after them pesting you "which one?"... then waving goodbye haha But if i want the decent helmet for £200 mark guess i'll have too. ... But am still torn, although getting the shoei or Arai which are RRP just less than 300 notes has to be better than the AGV at £200ish for RRP... if you get me? Cheers for replies.
  4. For about the £200 mark i am torn between: Arai Condor http://img.alibaba.com/photo/105085801/Arai_Condor_Stellar_Silver_Helmets.jpg or The Shoei XR1000 http://www.helmets4u.co.uk/images/CAKDQRO1.jpg or The AGV stealth sv http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/product_images/agv_stealth-sv_black_right.jpg Also open to sujestions...
