  1. Tell me about it. Still panting like a fat lad doing press ups..
  2. Takes a long time and crucially as we discussed today. It takes respected and in a macho sport "a fxxxxxx hard lad to stand up and open up" It also helps in RL that we've not had the racial and homophobic issues associated with other sports so mental health could be prioritised.
  3. Good evening. So i did the walk and talk again today with the batley bulldogs. Tell you what. Don't want to preach and we all know I'm a bit of a mental health warrior. BUT get out there, get in fresh air (ish living on the sodding west Yorkshire conurbation)... If players, former players, random RL eejits from the toughest sport there is can talk. Every bugger can.
  4. Our time will come...lol
  5. If you need an IT expert you know where I am kidder.......
  6. Just download it. Cheers for the heads up @Bender Missed out on a Greggs by 10 mins....
  7. Its definitely not gone away. Into my 4th week now. Post covid complications etc for the last 2 week. I still feel like shite and my breathing is atrocious. And I am relatively fit and healthy. Stay safe.
  8. Is the App free to download? Yes I know. Spoken like a true Yorkshire man....
  9. I too support the Ukraine. Its the hypocrisy from the media I have a massive issue with. BTW. Leave Wales alone. Nuke Manchester....
  10. Historical sense. Our generation is not long forgotten history. My point is: Whilst I sincerely feel for the Ukraine citizens and I think Russian action is deplorable. The public out pouring of grief and disgust in this country is a little hypocritical.

Thats the whole point of a union. The rep will always fight for the members rights. Why would a union official care about the non union member. They haven't paid their subs and chosen to go their own way.
  12. I feel most UK citizens have a very short memory. Its not like the UK has never interfered with democratic (and un democratic when its still nowt to do with us). In fact not only have we interfered we've done the exact same thing Russia has done. From Ireland to India. As a nation we have this strange ability to re write our own history.
  13. Have we not seen this in Europe before.....

Any Union is only as strong as it's membership. Coming from a closed shop background and seeing the decline in membership during recent times is heartbreaking. Not helped by the anti Union laws passed relatively recently. Reps/shop stewards are at times stuck between a rock and a hard place. Most don't see what they do behind the scenes, as for most folk the only interaction with a rep is when shits going down. (The reason shits not gone down previously may be the rep doing a good job behind the scenes)
  15. Good morning. About to have a stumble to the beach with the dog. Strange this can't drink business. Seems to be affecting the time I get up.....lol
  16. Stay safe mate. Hope its the tarting version
  17. Hate it....lol I was laughing with a Hull City fan yesterday morning. Obvious relegation banter. Saying "At least if we went down I'd be able to get a ticket again" Never had a ST due to shift work.
  18. We certainly needed them. Wolves were good first half and leeds shambolic. As Carragher said on commentary "its mad watching leeds"
  19. Leeds Leeds are falling apart again. Who'd be a Leeds fan......lol I really do not know what to say other than. A. I wish I was there B. I wish I was jumping around like a gibbon in the boozer. We really are undisciplined. Manical. Borderline naive and you really can't get more Leeds than that performance tonight. Sums up the last 5 years. Even prior to Bielsa.
  20. Forgot you followed them Ian. ALAW
  21. Trying not to drink. (Due to the pills I'm on) Its going to be difficult. At the coast on me Todd with the dog. Leeds on tele. Rugby on tele.....
  22. So other day I was babbling on about going for a very slow walk n talk. Facilitated by a local professional rugby club. Well we had a little walk. Lots of really good shite talking (we were all Ellery Hanley in our minds...lol) And I tell you what. It was fantastic. We were laughing at how even 10 years ago we would have never had the conversations. Its to do with an initiative called RL cares. Bloody good on them. We were even laughing at all our macho bollox. We still do it but now we can show our softer sides too
