  1. Aye I'll get in contact with the union directly Phone the union and ask for the number of the full time official. They should then arrange a meeting with your local reps. Your local reps should then cascade all information to yourselves.
  2. Yes. Because the other option is too depressing to even think about....
  3. No the uk didnt opt out. Up to a few years back individuals could (i did) but nowadays its set as legislation. But..... It is not per week. You can average over a month. So if like me you work shifts you may do X2 60 hr weeks and X2 24 hr weeks then get a week off. We quite often with cover do x6 12 hour shifts on the bounce but then have to take the 7th off to balance the hours.
  4. Look up the working time directive. Neither you nor your company can legally opt out of it.
  5. Ear phones all the time. Love it. As Stu says it's only like having radio on in car
  6. Trouble is. Neither side of the NI political divide will be happy if brexit occurs. And unfortunately the inevitable will happen. The good friday agreement will be tossed to one side and stormont will remain empty.
  7. Glad i came back Things are getting intetesting
  8. Braver than me! I thought about going on mine to work today then I slapped myself First time in a while to be honest. Bad bad traffic at the moment with xmas and all that bollox. So couldn't face an hour commute in the car.... Practicality filtered all the way from mine to bloody Uddersfied.
  9. Rode it to work tonight Bit nippy like
  10. For the money i dont think you can fault RST evo's. I bought a pair of alpinestar 2 year back and to be honest i will be going back to RST's when needs must. The last pair lasted 4 year all weather.

  19. Had a couple as I recall. One little thing glanced off the bike local to me. The other being a helmet strike at speed. That shook us up a bit to be honest. Didn't see it till the last second and just managed to duck my head slightly so the impact was mainly top of head.
  20. Me this morning. I was on nights last night. Rode onto work in relative heat and sunshine. Had scrape the frost off the seat at 6 AM to get on the bloody thing to ride home!!!! Was a tad cold when I got home..
  21. Oh Megawatt.... I was always amazed how each year his chosen outfit was always more scandalous (and vomit inducing) than the last... Quite a feat! Then Beefy tried to outdo him and instead looked so good in a skirt he made some of the biker blokes question their sexuality! Including a random local bloke he picked up at the bar by accident There was no question to that blokes sexuality Tell thee what kidder. Tha pulled How many beers did he buy you? And then you left him...
  22. Lovely looking bike. Saw one yesterday in the flesh. 2 up cruising through Beverly town centre. Poor lass on back was nearly falling off...
