And when we get there if he states... "fancy a pint"
I'll throttle him
-
Yes that's just the section of the website I was stalling at
Our game is yet to be on the list of events and when you try to ring them a recorded message is all you get.
The thought of tube station bottle necks with my dad and an 11 year old lad hold no joy at all to be honest.
It's the old romour mill going into overdrive at the moment concerning all the segregation issues.
The funniest of which is "who will get given the Green Man pub....
Doesn't apply to us as I just need to get him in the ground.

Thanks for the reply TC.
Yes a 10 mins walk is just about doable.
Obviously for us it won't be a sell out on the scale of this weeks match.
But the FA in their wisdom have decided that the FA trophy final will also incorperate the fa vase final as a prelude.
Normal circumstances this is no issue.
This year 3 out of the 4 teams playing on the day happen to be ex league clubs...... Us included.
Therefore the level of policing and segregation will be higher. This I am led to believe will also include car parks and ways into the areas of tge turnstiles etc (unfortunately all 3 clubs have active hooligan elements who in the recent past have clashed)

Bit of a random one this.
I know we have a few football fans amongst us. ( six30 etc).
Right the team I follow have got to Wembley for the first time in their history for the FA trophy final on may 22nd. The times I've been have always been on the train/coach.
Anyway because it's a momentus occasion my dad's wanting to come down.
Series of heart attacks and he is a blue badge holder.
I have been trying to make sense of the fa website but it's very poor and cannot make contact by phone.
Does anyone have any idea of how far the blue badge parking is away from the turnstiles.?
Help much appreciated. He's 73 and never seen us at Wembley so not taking him is not an option.
Cheers all

That's the one Mrbrightside

Yeah it's 2 test days in a week. One at Silverstone then at Donnington.
Donnys closer to us but am working then so it's the extra hour or so drive down to Silverstone for us.

Anyone going down to the media/testing day at Silverstone on Tuesday?
Free in etc.
Taking the kids down. It's a full day. Track action from 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs.
On nights all easter so thought a trip out would be good

Rant.
Everybody is different old boy.
Not saying it's definitely the way to go just giving an opinion.
I also think it has a lot to do with past experience, both on 2 wheels and in a car.
Personally I didn't own a bike for 20 odd years before doing DAS. I'd had 125's as a kid and also scooters (proper ones) but had also had a car license for 20 plus year.
So for me 125's made no sense at all.
-
To be honest.
its like asking how long a piece of string is.
A lot of people go straight from CBT to their tests while others spend years honing skills on a 125.
I suppose the downside to many miles of practice on a learner is the tendency to pick up bad habits.
Just do your test mate.

It's the term "fanboy" I find offensive.
Makes me sound like I should be wearing a leather cap and supping in the blue oyster bar

Apparently Rossi has had to have his legs cable tied to the frame of bike to prevent him cheating again.
