  1. The Infinity store in Southampton (Portswood?) is very good, lots of stock and recently expanded premises.
  2. It's your exhaust header, and on a singe cylinder there's obviously just the one. What a scrote to steal a part. These people think only of themselves.
  3. Took a ride out down to the Kent coast today and bagged a few tags along the way: Started with a foray through central London to grab the last pub - the great Exhibition: Then down via Eynesford Castle - thanks for the heads up on the location Hoggs! A short hop over to St Leonards Tower, tough one to get a decent photo of with the bike Then the long hop down to the coast to visit Walmer Castle: Finally, decided to grab the one near Southend-on-Sea on the way home. Hadleigh Castle. Couldn't get close to this one on the bike so took to foot power for the last bit of this, so you lot get to see my ugly mug in this one..: Seen a fair bit of the South East doing this so far, enjoying it!
  4. You had that motocage special edition mt07 last time right? Thought those looked great. What have you gone for this time? Good luck with the sale btw.
  5. Hello folks, Quick question - do we think that the "The Great Exhibition" is an allowable alternative / option to the "Exhibition" pub tag? I fancy a ride through central London and this one would allow that - the alternative is a wander up Cambridge way. Cheers, Andy
  6. Hi All, Just noticed today that Simon Weir's Bikers Britain, the tours book is on offer it seems at Amazon today. It's £3.99 down from £12.99. Worth a go at that price. I've got his original Bikers Britain book and it's well put together. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/r.html?C=20GVO4DM1YBAH&R=1RE9U3BXINWG&T=C&U=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2F0749577363%2Fref%3Dpe_2724401_140342001_em_1p_0_ti&A=NPK7MZLI3N9LWYSGLX2BN0VVEHCA&H=BVS9KHTUXLAQQU2FV6TQG0QHSKSA&ref_=pe_2724401_140342001_em_1p_0_ti" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Cheers, Andy
  7. Lovely run out today down along the south coast. It was also the Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting today, so the roads were full of supercars which that made for interesting viewing. Arundel Castle - very picturesque town is Arundel, never been before but may well return. Lewes Castle - not the easiest to access. Accessed via a pedestrian road, double yellows adjacent. Herstmonceux Castle - lovely lady named Rosa on the gate let me through so that I could take a pic by the castle. Politeness and honesty often pays off!

    New Top Gear

I think I preferred the iplayer extraGear episode to the main programme. More of Sabine. Chris Harris didn't come across as well as I'd hoped he would, although his Nomad lap was pretty decent. Overall less contrived cheesy pranks than the main show. Let's see how it develops.
  9. Thanks for that! Good info.

    New generation

    Congratulations! Good work.
  11. Lovely ride out down the A272 via Petersfield to Chichester to pick up this pub tag. It's a great road, and from Petersfield take the B2146 & B2141 to Chichester is also a highlight. Recommended.
  12. I've now used the wax for the last couple of chain care sessions and it's pretty different. It doesn't fling, but it does leave quite a lot of white residue on the chain so if that's not something you could live with then it's not for you. I don't mind it I must say and should make the rear end easier to clean (if I get round to that..)
  13. Looks good, it's great to get your first big bike - enjoy! May see you out and about.
  14. I think that it works that transfers can be made at any time, it'll always let you. The time window that rider changes will score points for you is a however just a time deadline. It would have been cheaper for them to build the system this way, they'll just run a batch job on the data set after the midnight for the points scoring deadline. They don't have to manage transfer windows that would have to physically change the sites functionality. Its cheap and cheerful, but it's a shame that they just didn't keep building on what they had before.
  15. Equivalent wd40 prices at Halfords for comparison. Remember to HALF the halfords prices to get to the 200ml equivalent. Makes the wax the best value, saving. £2 per 200ml.. Good deal.
  16. I think I'm going to try the wax for a change now that the weather is improving.
  17. I've just noticed that the WD40's are the small 200ml ones.. Not such a bargain, but not bad. Might see if I can fit one under the seat.
  18. I'd be interested in dates for your plans. I'd likely be heading up from the south but could intersect if dates work out.
  19. That's £100 very well spent. Well done that man. Shows what a bit of imagination and elbow grease can do for a project.
  20. Nowhere to go but up..
  21. I upload the odd video now and then when the mood takes me. Nothing fancy. Latest one was about the 40 to 60 mph performance of my recently departed Honda CBF 125. Feel free to check it out. https://youtu.be/QaduRhdV_pw
  22. Hi Rennie - I've submitted a team. "KO Racing". Cheers.
  23. Welcome back. Hopefully the worst is now behind you so upwards and onwards from here! Hope you get back on a bike soon.
  24. Took a ride up to Hertfordshire yesterday so on the way there and on the way back today I bagged the following tags: 1. The Black Bull, Ruislip 2. The Royal Oak, Watford Heath. Nice setting this one, just up the road from where I grew up! 3. The Old Sun, Harlington nr Dunstable 4. Berkhamsted Castle. I used to work in Berko for a couple of years back in the 90's. Happy memories of that town. I even stopped by the local Simmonds bakers as it was lunchtime when I was there today and treated myself to my old regular lunch order of a doorstep sausage sarnie. Lovely! 5. Guildford Castle. I rode past the sign at the gate and it was a steep one-way so made do with this shot. Small and very well tended gardens around this one if that's your thing. I visited Guildford a lot in the early 90's but saw more evenings there and insides of bars as it was whilst visiting a friend at their Uni. I didn't do anything cultural like visiting a castle.. How fancy I have become.
