    Old school 👌

Bikes are less dangerous to other people than cars. You get pass at 17 and get into an ev suv that weighs 3000kg and does 0-60 in 3 seconds which is something government building facilities managers are genuinely scared of. A bike won't hurt anyone anywhere near as much. Sure, maybe more accidents in general (source needed), but they take themselves out of the pool.

    Update. And a warning.

So my renewal came through, the price was not too bad on an auto renew. I thought I'd change my occupation and the commuting bit to keep it all up to date etc. for the new policy that starts in 3 weeks.

The person on the phone said because of these changes a new quote was needed and the existing policy would have to change immediately. Then they said they couldn't change this policy and l had to start a new policy altogether. At £40 more expensive. Bennett's.

Quick search and half an hour on the phone to Devitt and I halved the cost. All changes declared. I'm a house person with no commuting to work.

I'm happy with that. The warning is if you do change your policy mid term beware of hidden costs, even when trying to do the right thing they will do anything to get more out of you.

Tl;Dr use price comparison website every time.

    Happy birthday!

Sounds very civilised... Unless you're leaving out one of the friends being a stripper or something?

Hope not - it's mostly dudes coming over!

  4. Welcome! That's... A ballache! Hopefully it's at least sunny?!

If never considered the possibility of being stuck if you can't get parts. Maybe a good reminder to people to stick eith a Honda in future? I dunno.

Good luck mate, unsure what to do except complain loudly on twitter etc to head office?

I don't believe that somebody would have taken my wipers and changed for crap ones.

I never changed it, so it must be the original ones...

I hear you. Bmw called me during a service and said 'you have the wrong size tyres on your car'. I was like what? You fitted them. What are you on about? Guy was new, called me with incorrect info like 3 times. I was like no, speak to your advisor and call me again. Useless.

Just to add that someone I know set up as a Zero dealership and found they were a nightmare when it came to warranty work. In the end he gave up because they fell to bits so quickly and customers weren't getting the support they needed from the company.

Same as mv agusta a few years back but hey 'Italian spirit'

    Just a passing thought.

If you chose to give it an ICE motorbike sound which would you choose? Imagine choosing, say, a Ducati. Turn up to your local bike meet, heads turn and… what a disappointment. And how much ribbing would you get?

This, though, could be an option. 😂😂😂😂

Don't think I'd want that. Although I don't like the idea of fake engine noise in my car, yet when I turn it off its too quiet! I hate myself every time I turn it on.

  8. If electric bikes had good range, quick swap batteries, and were cheaper, faster and generally better than petrol ones I'd seriously consider one, sound notwithstanding. I like the exhaust note, but if electric was say half the price of petrol, in addition to the above, I'd swap in a heartbeat, exhaust note be damned.

I've been on 3.  Two with Royal Caribbean  which I would absolutely do again. They seem to manage the people better and it doesn't feel crowded or that you are forever queuing.

Went on a cheap P&O cruise last year and I didn't enjoy it. Wife thinks it was because we were spoilt on the other ones. Just felt like they had crammed the ship to capacity, massive queues for drinks and food. A lot of the staff didn't seem to care. Unfortunately the Wife has booked another P&O one for just the two of us next year as it was so cheap. She reckons I'm just being miserable but I would rather have spent more money on a Royal Carribean one!

@Bender You might like this Robotic Bar they had on the Anthem.  Just use the screen to choose what drink you want and the robotic arms make it and hand it to you. No contact with people necessary
