  1. Amex on the Virgin Credit Card. Visa on the same Card. My last 'swap' was 2 months ago (£4,750) - no charges - no fee. Need to pay it off (or transfer) within the next 3.5 months to 'escape' any interest. Egg was also advertising this (some time ago though). Believe MBDA has a similar scheme at the moment - Also Santander had this early last year. (G@@GLE is your 'friend').
  2. Lucifer - Lucifer Don't know why this went in twice
  3. Lucifer - Lucifer
  4. Amigo Loans - You will need a guarantor. These days they all charge a fee for balance transfers, but it's still a very good way to get money quickly with no repayments needed until the zero percent expires. Just make sure you dont use the card for any purchases otherwise you pay interest charges on the purchases until you've cleared the total debt. Not true! I get a letter almost monthly advising that I can trasfer credit at no charge.
  5. Southend Pier Revved Up Tea Bar Just the two today.
  6. Late entry: Ferry from Douglas was late leaving (1 hour). On arrival at the entry channel to Heysham - The Captain announced that we had to stand off due to thick fog - We would need to wait for slack water at high tide before we could approach the dock. Slack water would be at 02:35 Eventually arrived home at just gone 5:30am Had to be at work at 7:30am F**k It

  10. Ollie, As I am riding down and Sue will be taking the car - we will have room for you (and your 'kit') should you wish it. Current plan is to leave mid-morning on the Friday and 'escape' around mid-morning on the Sunday. Also happy for you to come over to Brampton on the Thursday evening and stay over (that way, there is no rush and you get a 'free' breakfast). Over to you..... PM me. Al

  18. Check to see if you can feel any play in the front wheel (push/pull top/bottom) - If so, your wheel bearing is loose / worn. Check to see if there is any play in the steering (Holding the front wheel still, can you move the handlebars?) - If so, this could be the forks, loose yolk, etc.
