2. Rodders You need to fit an ignition controlled automotive 12v relay. The coil terminal 89 need to go to an ignition live, if the lights come on with the ignition, use the rear light feed. the other coil connection 86 goes to negative / ground. then a battery live, fused goes to the aux contact 30. the second aux contact 87 goes to the USB live. The USB negative can go to any negative / ground connection. see sketch below but ignore the colours as this was for a specific problem. HTH any questions come back and I will do a specific sketch for you.
3. Did you check the gap before fitting the new plug? should be Spark plug gap:0.6–0.7 mm (0.024–0.028 in) Most are OK but best to check.
4. As TimR says Northern Ireland laws require a CBT Extract from https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/motorcycle-licence-requirements Motorcycle licence requirements Part of: The Highway Code, The Highway Code Annexes Motorcycle licence requirements. Jump to table of contents If you have a provisional motorcycle licence, you must satisfactorily complete a Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course. You can then ride unaccompanied on the public road a motorcycle up to 125 cc with a power output not exceeding 11 kW, with L plates, for up to two years. So it boils down to , did the OP have a valid CBT and provisional license at the time.

6. The pinlock pins are eccentric and by turning them you can put more pressure against the visor and so create a strong seal. You can test this with a piece of paper. If you can push it past the edge seal it needs more pressure. It can take a bit of patience to get it right. Pinlock do an additional 3 part pin which gives more adjustment if necessary.

11. The brake line route for the front brake is ridiculous with the ups and downs. Why didn't Suzuki fit bleed nipples on and around the ABS unit.
