2. I did not get it for the current rating of the unit main,y for the amount of circuits that can be connected. 8 circuits easily.
3. You can use something like this available from Halfords in the audio section Bought one to tidy up the feeds from the slave relay, not got round to fitting it yet
4. What helmet is it. Some makes e.g. shoei sell cheek pieces separately and in several sizes for each size of helmet to make the fit just right.
5. Quick look at a wiring diagram shows the fuse feeds the fuel relay and a connection on the speedo. Then after the relay it goes to the ECU, the fuel pump and the injectors.

3.7 gal tank. 120 miles = 33mpg How much are you putting in to fill the tank after 120 miles? From internet average fuel economy is about 35 mpg, so not far out.
7. Yes had a quick look, about 4 hours riding time + 1 hour for food means leaving Stratford no later than 10:00. Quatt is better this week. So where and when do you want to meet?
8. Sounds OK Where do you fancy meeting? Need to be back home by 3ish as going out about 5

10. Bought a garmin590 after it had been out for a year or so at a good discounted price.
11. I have the q1 but the instructions are the same. Turn the unit on, them press MM once for the music from the phone. Press MM twice for radio. Press MM three times for the programmed phone number. When the radio has been called, press and hold either + or - to scan for a radio station If music is being streamed from the phone a double pres of MM changes to the previous track. A long press of MM will switch music streaming off and put the unit into standby.

Zx6R F3 running problem

Try moving the No.2 plug to a different cylinder and see if that cylinder runs cooler. It is not unkown for a new plug to fail. Unlikely but possible, but it will rule out another possible fault.
15. Nice run out on Friday but not sure if Speedy23 would have enjoyed to single track lanes SatNav took me along "> not to mention ">
16. Plenty of "how to use multimeter" web sites. Use continuity or resistance to see if the "bulb"is ok. Should be zero. Then check for volts at the holder. Set voltage range to cover 12 volts. Don't forget it is DC. Make sure the leads are in the correct ports and the selector switch is correctly set. If in doubt ask. HTH
17. Interesting run out today with the SatNav taking me down some single track grit and pebbles strewn roads. Full Moon, The Boot and Basildon Park Full Moon The Boot Basildon Park
18. Don't think you will get an answer, the thread is 9 years old!

Carb Chaos

Looking into the JIS v Phillips and found this on a supplier Vessel tools website. "Vessel Statement on JIS Compatibility: The Phillips tip of VESSEL screwdrivers is designed with less tolerance than the JIS or ISO standards. Therefore, the VESSEL tip standard is within both the JIS and ISO standards. i.e. it complies with the JIS standard as well as the ISO standard."

Was doing that to my GPX. Sometimes even using the JIS drivers the monkey metal of the original screws caused the heads to shear off instead of just knackering the cross head.

Carb Chaos

This is because the screws on the ZZR are not Philips head. They are JIS, a Japanese standard. Philips will fit but if the screws are very tight the driver will damage the head. The JIS drivers are a slightly different angle. http://ruggedroads.co.uk/JIS-Screwdriver-Set-Vessel-Megadora-P1-P2-and-P3 https://www.howtomotorcyclerepair.com/jisscrewdriver/
22. Yes, I thought we rode very well also...... Must check spelling before posting
23. God ride out with Speedy23 down to Cirencester led by Speedy. I then led back to Evesham. Good old Garmin led us down some narrow country lanes with plenty of Gravel across the road. It was interesting to say the least. Not sure I'll get to lead any more rides. Still a good day out. Then at Evesham we split and went our separate ways. No photos though forgot to take some.
24. Well I was going to get this as a patch but not sure how it would be taken.
