  1. haha thanks was not impressed and only took me 4 hours to get the clutch out haha didnt help i took the left hand side (mag and fly wheel) 1st and thought hmmm strange looking clutch with a wire and magnets lol so yeah right hand side = clutch on the EN, GS, DZ, GR 125 engine
  2. hey all had an eventful day today i was going to ride to the garage today to get myself some fuel for a nice days riding and just as i was about to set off i put the bike on the main stand started her up to let her warm up and when she was warm i put her into 1st stand still down and noticed the wheel was moving with the clutch pulled hmmmm i thought i adjusted the cable from one extream to the other hoping this would fix the issue allas no luck. i applyed the back break and the engine didnt stall either so the clutch has stuck between partal power and fully in. well i wasnt impressed after ringing the RAC and finding out they wanted over £100 to come out i hung up and started to ring around my biker friends all saying the same thing "the clutch has burnt out its dead" so i drained the oil, took of the sump and so it was the notchy bit (diver plate?) you know the bit that has all castle like bits on it 3 of 5 plates are well flush and the metal holey plates are well flush also. so now im waiting on parts over £50 worth of plateygoodness and a new oil filter for when then oil needs replaceing after clutch wear in. my friend who is doing the work is also going to replace my gaskets and O rings as well as investigate my Mag and Regulator as the back bulb blows when high revs are introduced and a new white LED bulb for the back wooooooooooooooo. watch this space for updates anyone else who has a bad clutch on the EN125 (or equivalent) i will make an idiots guide for these people and hope it will help people in the future. 11. remove screws replace and coat in a non corrosive weather resistant greace (chain wax from castrol is good) if the screws are tight and stiff give the screw a small twist to tighted this will start the screw then undo the screw easy i work with aircraft so see alot of bad screws we coat them in fluid 5 before reinstalling screws this keeps them weather tight on the thred... also try finding alloy screws much better than Stainless and lighter u may save 1.5 a kilo if lal else fails find some plastic ones they wont last long but wont rust

  18. could be done fit a fag lighter to the battery bus off your alternator/mag (pure 12vwhen engine on then) buy the lighter adaptor for your nav and the rest is done for you... as stepping 12v down to 5v will be hard enough yet alone the amps plusif you spike you may spike the usb line and kill the usb so the transformer will remove the spikes. anyway good luck not a hard job just take time and learn to splice or solder lol
  19. hello all my bike (Suzuki EN 125-2A) is stuck at 95KPH acording to my book but i can get it to 120kph when on the A1 down hill but on a normal road its hard work lol now on my test i need to be able to do 100kph. so the question come into play.. what shall i do to give me this little bit more on my 4stroke 125cc. on my todo list is: sort rubbing front break out sort out electrical problem on back light by chaning the - earth wire... fix 1st gear indicator light clean out exhaust system... buy a K&N filter? or will that make more noise than power? i only have a 5 speed gear box and a CDI unit so i cant tune or remap the engine in anyway that i know of. if anyone has any ideas to make this bke faster please tell me its just for my test then it will be meeting the suzuki dealership for a newer bigger bike

  23. hello engine starts better cold... its a 2005 the bulb is reciving tyhe correct voltage and amps. the loom isnt damaged. im doing a service hopefuly this sunday changing oil and oil filter as i dont know when it was done. i will also be changing the spark plug as i do think its a weak spark. i put some WD40 on the axel today and the squeek went so i think its good the rear break squeeks aswell but its drum and only when i put it on a little bit. i also asume the battery is as old as the bike but its holding its charge so i dont think its dead. thanks alot sean
