  1. Not fit enough just yet to do anything like that Jo and the shift work would get in the way for doing it at regular times around my shifts. Last week I was on nights, this week just about to do a late turn, off wed/thur and back in for a week of 4/5am starts from friday!
  2. That is exactly what I was going to do but can't find 200g balls of wool. Can only find 100 or 50g balls. There are loads on ebay. Bex give us a link to what you want and I will buy some and get it sent to yours.
  3. After recent events I decided to do something to prevent things like that happening again so I went for weight loss and getting fitter. Lost a stone in a little over a month. It's gone from my legs and arse, I still have a bit of a beer belly, I just don't know what to do to get rid of that. I have cut out all crap foods that I used to eat. No full english brekky every day, no kebabs/chips/pizza when starving and drunk. Have cut down on snacking too, it's surprising how much chocolate I used to eat! Crisps at work and general rubbish to pass the time away and boredom. Cut right down on alcohol now and eating sensibly. Walking everywhere, instead of going on the bike which I actually enjoy. Also drumming for an hour a day to build up stamina and general toning of arms and legs. All in all I am feeling quite chuffed about it and I only hope I can keep it up. I have resisted the urge to go back to my old ways so far but it's not been easy! I just wish I could get rid of my tummy!
  4. How much do you need exactly?
  5. I think you guys are missing the point somewhat. Re-read what Bumble said earlier........

    XBOX Usernames

Just added you on the xbox.
  7. Then the next one turns up, same situation I bet. I think there is a procedure if you have a wheelchair you need to book your ticket, then get in touch with your local station to let them know what time you will be arriving and what train you will be getting. They then meet & greet you and get you on the train you are booked on so this kind of thing shouldn't happen. Most trains have an allocated space for wheelchairs and bikes. I would have gone and moved the people from there to accommodate her.
  8. Just a heads up post really for anyone on the South Coast. As many of you know I am in Brighton. I ride everyday and also go out for a big ride at least once a week with the lads from work. Next ride will be Tuesday (14th) from Brighton to The Ace Cafe via Guildford or something. Not sure exactly what route but will take the scenic route. Anyone up for that will be more than welcome to join us. I will post up here other dates for our rides. Typical rides in the past have been around Kent (Lydd, Hawkhurst), Surrey (Box Hill), Hampshire (Loomies, Lymington, Portsdown Hill). Would be up for a ride to Poole Quay if anyone want's to do that for the evening meet up. Basically shout in this forum if your up for a ride somewhere and I will see if I can make it. Have met loads of riders from this forum down here. Lots of them about so lets get out there! Tell us here who you are, where you ride etc.
  9. You young whippersnapper, Doom wasn't first. Honestly, kids of today... "> You slag! I was in two minds what one was first, didn't know offhand so opted for Doom!!

  11. For those of you who love MW/COD etc etc, this is where it all began. The first 'First Person Shooter' game. I remember when this came out on the Amiga, graphics were nice and I took my Amiga and a portable telly around to my mates house one sunday afternoon to play against each other. It took a about an hour to set it all up and get it running and we played for hours against each other thinking it was brilliant. Would never have imagined back then what you could do nowdays. Anyway, game is called Doom. "> And for all you old gamers out there something to get you thinking about the good old days! ">
  12. Lost a one-inch nail around Dewsbury somewhere.... f**k it

    Visor Poll

Got a multi-coloured Iridium one and a clear one for my Shoei and have a silver mirror and a clear one for my AGV. Never had a problem from the police. Have chatted with a few whilst out and about with my mates and they have never commented on the visors. Here are the guidelines from the ACPO. http://www.acpo.police.uk/ • Tinted visors, if used during daylight hours, advice only, if used during the hours of darkness or conditions of reduced visibility consider prosecution using ‘Tintman’ equipment where available. It is acknowledged that there is much debate about this issue and many variables and anomalies can be applied. Therefore a pragmatic approach is necessary and only in cases where there is an obvious danger should prosecution be considered. • The rest of it can be found here http://www.righttoride.co.uk/virtuallib ... gy2006.pdf
  19. Horse walks into a bar and the barman asks "Why the long face?" "I just been kicked off a train....."
  20. What's the score regarding music? Will someone have a ghetto-blaster for sounds and are you allowed fires on the site?
  21. Amazing event. I will be there if I can, waiting for a door of all things! I have seen that 750 before I am sure of it. Think i had a chat with the owner of it at Brightona last year.
  22. Mate, if it is a f**ked up as you have explained here then surely you can use all that information in the appeal, the other people on the course must feel the same so if you all go mob-handed then surely you have got a case for something. Anyhow mate, keep your chin up, just do what you can and think positive mate, it will turn out ok in the end, fingers crossed for you and all that.
