  1. Sorry to hear that mate, thieving scum. Been there myself. Glad your lad is sorted out though.
  2. A Nitro engine powered dremel He also made a nitro powered drill too. Wish I had his engineering skillz
  3. But how big is the bag you want carrying through customs? Seriously awesome offer pal, hopefully someone will take it up
  4. Couldn't get an arse cheek on that! [emoji15]
  5. Here maps has an option to avoid motorways, not sure about dual carriageways though. It's free and uses offline maps which I like as I can't always get a good signal.
  6. Some mushrooms are magic [emoji3]
  7. Probably a mild tune then, you cant really tell unless a tuner can read the flash on the ECU. I struggle to get above 25mpg in mine and that's normal driving with the occasional blat.
  8. I've got the Octavia VRS, same engine and chassis as the Golf. It puts a smile on my face every time I give it the beans, but it has been mapped to 225 bhp with the N112 and N249 delete, mushroom air filter and full stainless with decat. Sounds like a jet engine when it comes on boost. Yes I am immature and childish!
  9. Mine was the same. Moving the choke didn't raise or lower the revs, it just richens the mixture. Only needed it for the first minute or two anyway, after that it would just bog down when accelerating until I turned the choke off.
  10. Does rev freely when you just sit and rev it or does it only do it under load when riding? Done any work to it recently? Could be a fuelling issue as it sounds like what mine does if I forget to turn the choke off, it bogs down.
  11. Having a go at fitting it yourself? Where are you from?
  12. Throw in a new (second hand maybe) engine yourself. Perfect opportunity to learn more about your bike.
  13. Well done! What did you buy? Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  14. Think about an ex patient transport ambulance that has a wheelchair lift you can use for a bike. You might lose some usable space because of all the windows, but I'm sure you could blank some of them somehow.
  15. There's a relatively new app called Calimoto that is getting some good feedback. It's specifically for bikers so finds nice twisty routes, or you can specify a 'round trip'. Currently needs internet access to search but they are working on an offline version.
  16. Having an 'issue' at the moment with a spline set I ordered 2 weeks ago but it hasn't arrived. The seller says otherwise, so let's dance!
  17. My training school hires out bikes for the day, could you do that if your trainers have a similar scheme? Good luck.
  18. I've just bought some summer gloves. Agrius Black gloves from GhostBikes for £20. Hard knuckle protection and very comfortable.
  19. That seat looks like my armchair! Comfortable [emoji106]
  20. I have used Gumtree the last few times, less idiots and it's free. Win win.
  21. This^ It's just damp on the brakes. Nothing to worry about, the brakes will clean themseves off at next use [emoji106]
  22. I wouldn't bother mate, leave it as is. Is it just the 1 set of neighbours who have their pants in a bunch?
  23. No spoilers! I have it recorded to watch tomorrow [emoji3]
  24. Similar issue here https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/338239 As far as I can fathom, if your exhaust is road legal, your not being a dick speeding or revving unnecessarily and you push your bike onto the street before you start it, then neither the council or the police can do a thing. Your neighbours need the sticks removing from their arses.
