Yea I imagine tea pot gets a bit hot and it's bound to be a pain to get the strainer in. To the rest who could resist a stupid answer, you could have mentioned the benefits before now I cooked our entire tea in it the other night and it cost about 8p we're still on an old tariff. Same problem, range, nothing wrong with the electric drive, it's just hard to hide a big battery on a bike and not notice the extra 250kg It will happen though and it's a shame cause electrons weigh bugger all

We the same, have looked at it but prob going to wait a few yrs before taking the plunge, will likely always have a second car, but after first hand experience with a small battery that won't be an option. I liked the E brake setting, dosent half slow you down and its progressive so slower you go the more it slows, can see brake pads lasting a long time, it also had a mechanical hand brake, I don't like electric handbrakes

So friendds daughter got a new Leccy bmw, had it a month, went back to bmw for 2 month, had it another month and its gone back for good, its been replaced by bmw with a diesel version due to inability to hit anywhere near quoted range. I've just been given a nissan leaf as curtesy car, started out with 70mile as range, within 2 it had lost 8, by time I've gotten home it's lost almost 14 for a 5mile journey, they may be the future but its a very over optimistic one, I'm not risking it for work I've parked it up and taking the wife's diesel, I can see a trend
