  1. Their customer service is incredible but this certainly goes next level.
  2. This is why I don't go out for a ride for an hour, I can't be bothered with the faff of getting dressed up. If I'm going out I'm out for hours.
  3. Had a helite ever since it was demo'd on me back in 2017. Never actually needed it but the only time I ride without it is when test riding new bikes or collecting a new bike, it feels odd not having it on a bit like not having a seatbelt on in a car.
  4. I bet you did, that's a lot to carry on the bike. Any photos?
  5. Love going camping on the bike. I've got my setup sorted now with a really comfortable bed, decent chair, table and cooking stuff so I'm a long way from roughing it.
  6. Whatever you get please ensure it's got a slow puncture
  7. These are big money bikes which are no longer being made. I can only see the prices going up so if you can afford to sit on it and wait it should only appreciate. If you do want to move it on you will likely get your money back.
  8. I'd fit something to the bike which will turn on and off when you start and end riding will be a lot more reliable that relying on yourself to charge the batteries, fit the camera to the helmet and start the recoding.
  9. It's very clever, there's also an override that will activate it from a switched live, I have used that now as I wanted to set the CarPlay thing up before setting off but before I had that the auto power on/off worked well.
  10. I've got one of these, works perfectly and fits any bike https://healtech.co.uk/shop/thunderbox-tb-power-distribution-module/
  11. No right handed, maybe it comes from lots of roundabout practice
  12. I must be the odd one out, I much prefer right handers than lefts. Interesting point about high arms, gonna try and pay attention to that.
  13. I've never paid that little in the 7 years I've been riding
  14. How do they operate?
  15. He's from Sunderland
  16. I never bother having it in.
  17. No idea but I’ve had a good experience with 4th dimension so I’d have no issue if they did.
  18. I had a claim and 4th dimension repaired my bike, it came back looking far better than when I bought it 2nd hand.
  19. None at all now really as they lost a lot of the insurance companies that they work with. I've been with Cornmarket since passing my advanced test but this year when it was coming up for renewal they called me to tell me what the price would be, they normally email so I knew it would be expensive. I got a new policy with someone else for less than half the price.
  20. I've bought a few bits from Aliexpress, I wouldn't trust anything that was safety critical but anything else I'm happy to buy, some examples: Handlebar bag, seems just as good as the branded one I used to have https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJV6G4N Handles for my panniers, I was going to make my own but at this price there was no point https://a.aliexpress.com/_EzPVXQz LED light for in my tent, Brilliant thing which takes up no space when flat but casts really good light when blown up https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHzYdTr
  21. Interesting one, the 6 point thing applies when you first get a license but with a provisional you can get up to 11 points. Once a test is passed any points that take you up to 6 points or if you have more than 6 at the time of test will result in a loss of licence. Anyone that manages to amass several points on a provisional will be paying a fortune for insurance I should imagine.
  22. If you wear glasses then take a spare pair. I believe it's a legal requirement in Belgium to have a pair with you but it's probably a good idea to have a pair with you just in case anyway.
  23. Looks natty. I've added to the list of things that I'd like for Christmas but it gets ignored so I'll likely order one on Boxing Day.
  24. It's one of the many things that live in the top box
