  1. Fridays off! You lucky lad
  2. I'm buzzing for the trip, still got loads of work to do but whatever happens I need to be on the road by 18:00 next Wednesday. Weather isn't looking amazing but I don't care. I'm looking forward to some saray grill as we missed it last year
  3. Just ordered some euros through Sainsbury's they have a rate sale on so they are doing €1.1489 to £1. As sales go it's pretty rubbish but it's a better rate than it was last week. I'm going to pick them up on Saturday. Just got to get the panniers out of the loft and fit them to the bike on Sunday, I'll chuck a few things in them ready to leave on Wednesday night at 5pm.
  4. I’ve just done mine, it remembered my details from the last time I just had to confirm them. Still need a few euros out but other than that I’m good to go, 9 days now.
  5. We will never find out!
  6. Hill is expensive. I’m crossing harwich to hook overnight on the 30th for £170. I’m having a couple of days mooching around before joining @Gerontious and co on the Sunday.
  7. I have a couple of sets from custom fit guards (I lost one then found them after I got a new set) one pair is really comfortable and the other I can’t stand. I’d say just get another set of custom ones made by someone else and hope they are more comfortable. Ears keep growing though your life so ideal you should have new custom ones every few years.
  8. I have two of these, one in the car and one on the bike, I just use them for emergency use which iOS thankfully very infrequent
  9. That’s very new, the Germans didn’t want it for privacy reasons. I’ll have a look around later.
  10. It certainly gives you a light head if you're directly behind it for any length of time.
  11. That could be the seat removal specialist but I think this is the mark of snod. I wonder if the trx has given up smoking yet?
  12. I think my annual travel insurance covers me riding my bike but I need to confirm with Admiral, it needs renewing at the begiing of october so it's not the end of the world If I need a new policy. I also need to get some Euro's but most spending will be on plastic now that the hotel accepts card payment. Really can't wait to get away
  13. Only 47 for me as my trip starts on the Wednesday. I can't wait to be away again.
  14. I added a thunderbox to my tiger so that I could get a switched usb socket at the front of the bike. I'll add an innov camera system down the line which I'll connect into this too. I much prefer these types of things to having to cut into factory wiring. Link to thunder boxes incase you've not heard of them. https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/tb/
  15. My 2020 R1250GS had the SOS button so it's not new. It would often flash up on the screen to say it had failed when it lost signal.
  16. Don’t forget to buy yourself a helmet too and go though the training as well. You might enjoy it more then you think
  17. It won’t be long until it’s on the train again.
  18. I miss those roads. Can't wait to be there again.
  19. I've only bought two helmets but they have both ended up being shoei, GT Air followed by a neotec 2. When I went to the shop I was intending to buy a C5 but the guy helped me try on loads of different ones and the neotec 2 fitted me way better. I was in the store for about 2 hours trying them all out. John at https://www.motocentral.co.uk/ is brilliant, I'd highly recommend visiting.
  20. Calimoto is my go to app, is it better than that. Are you developing it for Android or Apple?
  21. This looks fantastic. I'm off to look at Europe crossings....
  22. He was lucky to only have a pannier taken off!
  23. Looks great, Jack still with you?
  24. Lucky lad, I can’t wait to go there again. Are you staying at the schloss?
  25. For a fit and forget system that you don’t have to charge or activate etc then I recommend Innov. Not particularly cheap but they are decent.
