Okay folks, we did this in July but I reckon we should do it and show off our winter seaon kits lol. A few Ive spoke to said one last meet up (I cant see me getting up to Hull if there is an xmas bash) at Matlock on Saturday the 20th October. I know Sunday is a better day but Im commited. As per usual I couldnt organise one in a brewery so if the weather is good enough (drizzle is acceptable, flooding isnt) I will be there with my buddy Jota. I will be stood next to a 1098 as if I own it So post your name underneath and we'll see if we can get a group ride going, enjoyed the last one, I will buy any takers half a shandy at the cat n fiddle in the afternoon. Unless its torrential floods Im going Final decision will be made on Saturday but as it stands, its on. I have just looked at the met office and its raining Sunday but that forecast changes by the minute so lets keep upbeat about it, our bikes contrary to popular belief arent water soluable I think it would be a good idea to get everyones number, I will pm all on the list my mobile, also if your meeting up together get each others. Okay guys, those coming from afar can would you like a meet up point on the border to guide you in so to speak. Ive been chatting to a few and realise it wont be that easy to find for a non local, Im assuming most will be coming off the m56 m53 direction and asking opinions on initial meet point at the little chef at the end off the m53 joining a55 I know it says rugby club, image just to clarify location: http://www.chester-rufc.com/images/map%20wide.jpg If you have a better locale please let us know but I will happily travel over in the morning to meet n greet Calling my mateys parapanman and gimpy if youd like to join me for a brew there. all I can say is the hot chocolate is lovely A definite route will be made in the next 10 days I have asked a few members if they would lead various groups so you can choose if you want a fast n furious or more laid back outing, I will bring up the rear just so we dont lose anyone. There is likely to be locals who know the roads well and are comfortable riding them at a good lick, but I would like to say that this ride is for all abilities. If youd like to take part please pm me so I can compile a list of members going, and if youd like to offer suggestions on destinations / routes not covered, please feel free to do so.
