  1. My brother zzrgarry got a zzr1100 and its a cracking bike, weve had the occasional speed tests just to see who could out accelerate and it goes like a rocket. Not the nimblest in the twisties but sooooo stable and good at what is now described as, a hyper tourer. Ideal bike for sitting back and enjoying the scenery at daft speeds 8)

  11. Truth be told we only go for the gossip. Erm I mean thats why the gals go
  12. Okay this is how it goes. This is a club, you are a member of this club, same as me same as the next member. We all had our 'first time out' to meet the rest of the club, for me it was a fab day, great new roads and even better people there waiting to meet me. I didnt know Rennie, Yorbandit, Keith, Techno or any of the "regulars" beforehand. I met them by purely clicking yes, Im coming along to one. Now, whether you joined yesterday or a year ago, you have that entitlement. With so many members wouldnt it be fantastic to have a massive turnout, but it does take you to join in. No pressure, just wanted to clarify as I just saw a post asking "can I join in?", therers no need to ask; we as a collective want you to meet the rest of the loonies. Regardless of machine, turning up on a bike is better than a car obviously but if you cant then still come, its what keeps the club vibrant and fresh. Okay rant over but just remember those that do have a great time and those that dont, well your missing out for no reason.
  13. Yes! Everyone is invited to join in rideouts, its the best way to meet yer fellow members.
  14. Gives me a bit more confidence in the tyres lol, good to meet you too, I know I shouldve come down last night as it sounds like I missed a blinding night but still enjoyed being with my buds. Weve done a lot of talking today about a massive group meet in Wales, I may look at a weekend jaunt finding a b&b maybe, all welcome lol; imagine if we all invaded a small welsh village, for no other reason than to hear Vickis idea of the dialect lol. Met some new faces today, always good and anyone whos not been to a meet trust me its great, your all part of the family here so next time be sure to click yes Im in! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
  15. Back safe n sound, hell of a good day 8) 8) 8) Great dry weather all day, heavy snow on the ride home but we made it lol, improves my riding no end 8) 8) 8)
  16. Well was not a great turn out for a pondy meet lol, but the 4 of us had a good natter and sent our regards to all the rabble at the campsite. Hoping Phils got piccies of the snow, was a bit hairy going down the horseshoe mainly because inside and outside visor plus my glasses were misted up and covered in snow. Thankfully the fast bikers stayed at home cos me wobbling around at 40mph mustve been a sight lol. Looking forward to tomorrow now
  17. CRG and Pazzo levers are the two main names in roll a click span adjustable levers. Originally designed for race teams to conquer brake fade, as in the lever could be moved outward through the race to maintain braking effect. Now put on road bikes mainly for looks, they do however offer more span than an average lever does; they come in short or long lengths. Normally its just a case of removing your old levers and its a direct replacement, although a word of caution. My bike lol the z750s had three versions of a clutch lever and kawasaki and pazzo agreed they couldnt and wouldnt supply a version as most buy it to find they dont fit. A standard fix is that owners buy a zx6 / zx10 clutch perch, the brake is a standard kwak lever but its a pain in the bum lol. As far as I'm aware my bike for some reason is the only one that this has problems so its a good idea going to a retailer such as Hein Gericke so you can compare fitment prior to buying. Reckon on 130 quid for both levers so not cheap but most agree they look the dogs and really add a wow factor to your bike 8) 8) http://www.indysuperbikes.com/Images2/crg/crg.jpg Below is the folding version, designed to fold in a fall so they reduce the chances of the lever snapping http://images.sportrider.com/features/146_0708_11_z+crg_lever+progrip_vortex_clip_ons.jpg http://www.pureacceleration.com/images/Pazzo%20Levers.jpg

  24. Reffering to the idle rev adjuster yes? Might help: http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157901 http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a81/WilliamYZF-R1/tickover.jpg All depends if it was running fine before and its just started to bugger about without you messing, if bought like that it may well be the idle screw been fiddled with.
