  1. Most schools usually use a YBR 125 or CG 125 and even SR 125s in some places.
  2. By the sounds of it, you might as well just get a new bike... Other than that, some fancy bits like LED indicators? Edit: I should really take in things I read....Im obviously no help EDIT of edit: NEW SCREEN!!
  3. Sorry Mam *runs off to do work*
  4. Really? Im sure mine said the flat bit should be against the visor
  5. I have a massive uni essay in for Friday and havent started it yet. F*ck it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Pretty sure this is what Korben did on here and there have been many jokes since about it!
  7. A couple of things: Have you fitted it the right way round? I fitted mine back to front at first, so the plastic beading bit (the raised side round the edge) was against the visor causing space. I flipped it over and the problem was solved. Also, if you have been riding with the visor up, or been keeping the helmet in a damp place; moisture may have gotten in between the insert and visor. If so, take it out and rinse with warm water and dry with kitchen towel. Leave it for 20 mins so the excess dries and then put it back in. If neither work, then I'm out of ideas!!!
  8. Although, I'm pretty sure there is no choice. You have to do it on a 125 as I assume the 500cc bikes will be over 33bhp.
  9. Perfeck! Thanks Colin. Think I know what I'm looking for now
  10. Ahh right, will have to take the rear off again tomorrow. Unless anyone on here knows?....Anyone? Cheers Frankie!
  11. Okie dokie, would this relay do? Do I need two? Sorry but im a bit dense when it comes to electrical stuff!
  12. You do know it isn't Cristmas until the 25th right?
  13. Right, so I have fitted an aftermarket exhaust and want to tidy up the rear end of my bike and put some new indicators on. I was a the show today and got royally confused by what I need if I want to fit LED indicators! Do I just need a resistor? Or do i need a relay? Or both? And how do i fit that to the indicators?
  14. I got my ZX6R done professionally as the guy was prepared to chuck it in 'for free' if he didnt go down on price on the bike. Mine is obviously restricted slightly differently to what youre looking at as I have a throttle restriction and something in the inlet manifold. FI international are the sole providers for restriction kits so you wont find bike specific ones elsewhere unless, like you said you get the correct stuff made. Im pretty sure there was a whole thread on here not long ago about not needing a certificate and a news item on MCN (not necessarily that reliable!!) here : http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/ ... EPI-120157. The only problems of fitting it yourself are that you will need it dynod (about £30 i think) to prove it is only making 33bhp, if you do a bodge job it will probably mess up fuelling e.g. low mpg (mine is restricted professionally and im pretty certain the fuelling is off). Id personally say, if you can afford it then just bite the bullet and pay someone to do it. If you really cant then just make sure you know exactly how your bike is restricted and you get the exact stuff needed as you could have loads of problems.
  15. That does make the most sense, but then what really is the point of having a flip front one at all then?
  16. I guess that makes sense. My instructor whilst training always rode with his up Ive tried to find the source of the law on helmets and motorcycle. But in the road traffic act it doesnt say anything about different types of helmets. Just that it has to meet certain regulations...havent got a clue what they are though .
  17. Really?! Why? Surely its no different than riding with an open face helmet?
  18. I didnt think there were restrictions on 4 stroke 125s. Or they're so minimal that if you did 'derestrict' it you would only gain a couple of bhp. Save up and get a bigger bike!
  19. I meant "I think the reason they dont do it is because it has an underseat exhaust" There's always one!
  20. Looking for one for an 05 ZX6R but more specifically, the Scorpion one.
  21. The situation is that when I went to Hein Gericke to sort out an exhaust for my bike, they told me it would take two weeks to arrive as they are 'made to order'. I decided to leave it as I wont be back from Uni until mid December to fit it anyway. So, shall I wait for the NEC, will there be good deals on exhausts or just the companies advertising their products? The reason I want to know is that if there isn't, I want to order it from HG so it'll be at home by xmas so I can fit it etc. As after the NEC I wont get a chance to go to a HG before I get back from uni. I know that you wont know exactly but if anyone has seen companies doing deals on exhausts at the NEC before it would be good to know, cheers
  22. May meet you there or may not, sorry to be vague but the person i was going with had just broken his ribs so he doesnt know if he can sit in the car for that long or not. If he's coming then its unlikely I'll get to meet you guys as he wants to arrive early and leave early! If not, then ill be driving up myself and meet some people Im far too much of a wuss to go by bike and this way i can get more shopping
  23. May well be going on the 29th as well. Need to see plans of people who are going though.
