  1. you plonker, hope it doesn't hurt to much and that you heal quickly, tbh i cant understand how lubing the chain can hurt so much, what are you using to lube the chain, most methods i have used involve a spray can and it has an extension to it so your fingers are nowhere near. or was this while cleaning the chain.? dont leave it to long to get back on, just buy bigger gloves for a bit lol
  2. i used to ride with glasses but i found the vibration more of an issue so i got myself onto contact lenses, have you considered this? its weird at first but you get used to them and begin to wonder why you rode with glasses.
  3. so glad i got rid of rossi, i have moved up another two places
  4. he didnt quite walk away though did he if i remember, broke his pelvis? Marquez was a very lucky boy, you can see as he is on his hands and knees the 'where am i what was i doing' thoughts as his head straightens out lol glad he is back on form today and it didnt knock his confidence but shame he cocked up in his enthusiasm.
  5. thankyou for pointing that out to me and yes the dad is ok
  6. a class mate of mine has got three trackday tickets that he cant use for cadwell. his father had a bit of a crash in a car and they cant make it. he wants £50 per ticket which is half price. let me know asap if your interested

  10. £15 pound a month!!!!! fook that one for a game of soldiers. good job i dont pay as much attention to the gp as i do that other racing. will just have a look online the day after for results.
  11. yup i am happy with my changes, up 4 places
  12. ah boothy will be using the excuse that rossi's mechanics put the front wheel on wrong next. i agree with techno - rossi needs to realise that he isnt as good as he used to be. on to the marquez incident.......remember people calling simmoncelli dangerous for a lesser move. tbh i think marquez is awesome and i love watching him, he had been trying all race so why lorenzo didnt expect something from him is beyond me. glad he aint been penalised
  13. I dont think it will work and they will loose popularity. i live with two F1 fans and this year we paid the extra to get the F1 channel and its not that good. even they dont watch it that much. alot of the stuff is repeated and what isnt is just time filling drivel. the race is still watched as normal too so i dont see the point. its just showboating by the tv company.
  14. i am with roy, Joey was the best and is still to be beaten. john is dam good but he will be beaten by hutchy i think. molly has been an inspiration for sidecar racing, i didnt like it till i watched him and he is so good at it. tbh i would love guy to win, but i fear he is always going to miss out and be runner up all the time. shame cos he has the tallent there are just better men out there,
  15. well i am happy with my changes, fingers crossed i will be moving up the table now. cos the boys are being consistent which is always good
  16. i am loving assen, always creates close good racing but more so cos i changed my team and now pulling some points in lol
  17. transfers made, hopefully i will move up the table now lol
  18. i have rated him for years but i did not expect him to be at the front so convincingly straight away. i was expecting him to be around 5th-7th. Cal is doing well too, i hope they manage to get him the straight line he needs
  19. knew you wouldnt give it up for long lol

    Knee Down

and i think thats a very sexist comment, SOME women may not see the appeal, as is the case for some blokes, as evidenced here...that doesnt mean none of us want to i wouldnt ever dream of trying it on the road, but fully intend to have more track time this year, simply because i enjoy it ( cant beat no oncoming traffic), and i i ever get that far over and knee down , then all well and good....no its not the holy grail, but i understand why its done and definitely dont rule out wanting to get there myself. ps i know a couple of girls who race , and they feel the same about it as the guys maybe hunky guys will watch and want to have OUR babies :P think many men would be rilled and want to do one better, you know how they dont like their masculinity being tested hahaha

    Knee Down

i've had both knees down, unfortunately it also included arse head and the rest following lol what is the interest in getting your knee down, have you passed your test yet? wouldnt it be better to learn how to ride safely and smoothly rather than getting your knee down being the reason you ride, cos if that is why you want to then i fear you are going to have a short bike career. its easy to go into a corner, hit brakes hard and late, cock it up and have to get round somehow, which may result in you getting your knee down, but then to get going again you will just end up hammering the throttle. thus increasing tyre wear. that kind of riding can be expensive on rubber and if it goes wrong it could go horribly wrong. plus you dont need speed to get your knee down, or a big bike, you just need to understand gyroscopics, how the bike forces work and then you could do that in a carpark on a push bike if your that desperate. honestly do not see the attraction of it its either a man thing or i am getting old lol
